Hafeez, Ahmed and Kamran seem to be playing for themselves now rather than the team. You don't expect Hafeez to be playing so slow. I mean with Sharjeel gone how are we to make any quick runs? Sarfaraz should come at 4, Karman should be told to play at a faster pace. Shehzad needs a therapist, he is too worried about failure and loosing his spot in the team.
I have seen that even babar play for his stat. We have seen different babar after he scored century and started playing shots freely.
Not for stats but for the number 3 spot i'd say. But that innings in Australia wasn't as bad, when he was in his 80's he hit 4-5 fours in a row, i don't get how he was selfish in that innings. He tried his best in the end. We need to understand he is not a power hitter, he'll usually give you a consistent run a ball stuff. I expect him to give the team a foundation the others need to do more.

Its not bad to be selfish and to have this hunger to score runs but sometime team demand you to score runs at faster rate once you get settle. You will know what i am talking about if you watched how babar started playing aggresively after scoring 100 in last few overs so he has got the ability of power hitting. I understand If batsman play safe and slow when they are chasing small target but you need different approach when you are going to set a big target or going to chase a big target. They were telling during match that Paksitan team strike rate is lowest in last 10 overs compare to others teams and low strike rate is the reason of us losing most one days. Its win which matter at the end.
SAy if he got ot before getting a hundred, say on 90 when Imad just got himself in; do you know what would have happened, we wouldn't have gotten the score we did. Look there is a time to accelerate. He hung in there when everyone was getting out and gave us a decent score, we should appreciate the fact. What selfish about his innings? Too slow? compare them to the others and he's far superior.

Give the new guns some time, it's a shame to lose Sharjeel he could have easily filled so many gaps. Still we should have faith, if we don't support them who will? we need to get as much out of Kamran and Hafeez we can and if they aren't delivering we should do whats necessary.
I can't wait to see the same people missing these two the most, just let us play a couple of series without them.

Sharjeel was the guy for the strike rate part, he played some brilliant cameos against England and Australia, scored quick runs. We need to find some power hitters.
Shafiq? Never!! He lacks the basic skill, grace in his shots and even the whole variety of shots that Younis or even Misbah have. Azhar is relatively better.
