I dont follow ODI much. Its boring and predictable.

Recently, however due to World Cup I started watching this series. In both the games, the bowlers were walloped. I dont see how the integrity of One Day game will be preserved if there is such an imbalance between bat and bowl. There is everything for batsmen, nothing for bowlers. For a start, the Australian brand ball stops swinging after 5 or 6 overs. Then no matter what bowler bowls, the ball races to the boundary. To make things even harder, there are two balls for two ends! So there is no chance of reverse swing.

If these will be the rules in World Cup, it will be one boring, one sided tournament. There is need to create conditions for competition between bowlers and batsmen. At this moment, the game is heavily biased in favor of batsmen.

But every team is getting same flat tracks so if batsman of opponent team can take advantage of such flat batting friendly tricks then why we cannot. Pakistani batsman should have chase in previous game ..chasing is much easier on these tracks because you could bat as per require run rate and strike rate play huge part in here

Guys, Pakistan's bowling is zero. Its Pakistan bowling which is not taking wickets and getting hit for massive runs. Fielding is also poor...look at how many drops catches.

Lost by 6 wickets....Pathetic...Pak WC is over an out.

why bothering paying these players really. we sud boycott this world cup by saying india send kulboshan and they are involve in terrorism. you have another reason?

world cup will be very boring. cricket should be renamed as butchery. icc has ruined it for the sake of popularity. how many man of the match and man of the series awards have been won by bowlers in last 2 years.bowlers are being paid for getting thrashed. bring wasim and mcgrath here and they will also be giving 70- 80 runs in 10 overs.

Pitches are dull and so is the entire Pak team. The bowlers actually playing now are support bowlers not strike bowlers.Each team should have two strike bowlers and two support bowler and one genuine all rounder. Pakistan do not have any of them so far.

worst pitches in the world. pak should go with 11 batsmen. no need for bowlers as all of them will be hammered. there was a time when watching a match on english conditions was more interesting as compare to subcontinent pitches. now its the opposite.

World Cup 2019 winners to bag $4m prize

The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday announced a $4 million prize for the winner of the upcoming Cricket World Cup 2019.

"The total prize pot of $10 million will see the runners-up assured of $2 million and the losing semifinalists $ 800,000 each at the end of the 46-day tournament being played across 11 venues from 30 May," an ICC press release said on Friday. This is the highest amount ever designated to the tournament.

The council also said that there will be prizes for each league match won as well.
