The Army and the Government is looking for better future, CPEC and foreign investment neglecting the core issue our enemy is reminding us again n again.

It will eventually happens, I have always been against war as we just cannot replace neighbours but when someone is insisting so heavily, why not give them a taste of it

Full scale war means poor Pakistan and India for another 50 or so years, lose lose situation for both unless Kashmir issue is settled in the battlefield. Win win for Regional and Super powers like China and USA

Some things are inevitable. Lets prepare for the inevitable so that when it would actually happen we blow our enemyaway to hell for good.

and what is the level of respect being earned by ISI people by the masses ?

ISI = Inter Services Intelligence, name says all about it.

Respected for work but some times criticized for political involvement, but overall respected by masses for their work.

expcept the IPS officers on deputation to RAW

I don't think either nations will opt for nuclear strike. Russia was dismantled and they think about firing Nuclear missile and so is true for South Asia.

If the question is to annihilate Pakistan or India then both nations are well equipped to annihilate each other for multiple times.

well India has british legacy IPS
u would also be having the same
police service (people directly made SP in this)

these are the people who have more power in India , atleast in internal security

dont u use ur police service best people (which come from civil service exam )

IB take Police people, maybe there are some Civilian but never heard about civilians in ISI.

was an IPS officer
(police service)

on deputation he was working in raw

raw also has military people
but IPS lobby is much stronger than military ,atleast in interna security

and in India , u dont know who works in RAW
except if he is a clerk, or high post holding ceremonial officer

we also have IB in India
its officers are totally from IPS cader
and no military

ISI take people from MI, AF Int & Naval Int headed by Lt. General and reports to PM.

Till now they have worked well for nation, they may have civilian assets but core comes from military and only for few year then go back to there places.

ISI have worked closely with CIA but they have not adopted there orginization pattern.

In this insane world of Modi sanity must prevail. Why poor soldiers have to die for egos of politicians who are driving around in the comfort of their limos. Despite the rights and wrongs of both sides why these idiots politicians can't sit down and talk and sort out the problems. Why generations of our kids have to be soldiers instead of doing some productive work. How long and how many generations have to pay the price because politicians can't do their job and are not held accountable for their failures of sorting out the mess they created in the first place. Both sides must not be proud of how many soldiers they killed on the other side. How about we kill each other politicians and save our soldiers. Why Europe can live in peace and we in this day and age can't sit down and make peace. Kashmiries are human being like any one else on this planet so let them decide what they want and both countries after that move on from there. Keeping and enslaving other nations are long gone and Europe and US dumped this idea long time ago. India is too big to worry about loosing Kashmir and must show leadership on this respect. Its not a matter between two kids who got the jelly baby. Politicians on both side of the divide must take a long breath, sit down and open their eyes and stop this blood shed and show some responsibility to our mothers sisters and our kids. Peace must be made to be the winner.

Really Pakistan will suffer more? when them nukes are flying no one will come out alive as winner. it's this thinking of the Indian population the reason border is hot all the time. They geniounaly belive they'll come out of the nuclear war crippled but alive while Pakistan will be wiped off completely. Until they're educated on the perils of a nuclear offense I see no end to this futile violence.

I am new writing to forums. Posted a long time ago and dont even remember where did I post. Hope to be welcomed here.

Mostly I saw in this thread Pakistani people talking about equal response from Pak Army or Indian folks claiming some kind of their DGMO's official statement. Here is what I think about the letter. It instantly looked fake to me as I don't believe Indian Army isn't good at writing (with incorrect grammer in the first line) an official statement with informal/short words such as Pak instead of Pakistan.

Second, people expecting equal response should think as Pak Army would be killing our own people on the other side. That's what I heard from an Pak Army official on TV. They will never fire at civilians. And India knows it very well. India claims it's their Integral Part but they know exactly it's not, neither its people. They really dont care if Kashmiri people are killed. They are doing it already. That's exactly the reason Pak Army won't initiate firing and violate ceasefire which eventually could harm innocent civilians even when not targeted. They only retaliate and focus on the Indian posts. It's India who hasn't a single concern about civilians at neither sides. They violate and tells the lies.

I believe I made my point.

there are some civilians recruited directly as well depending on the role as field agents or admin associates and specialists in SIGINT or in modern day and age in computer based expertise. but as the name of the organisation is inter services intelligence so the biggest pool is the personale including officers from 3 branches of the military
