Pakistan to remain on FATF grey list

Who in Asia group was behind the additional conditions? Laos? Maldives?
Again. Stop the focus on India and behaving like a victim every time Pakistan is in trouble. If you believe India is the cause for being in a grayish list, as a country, what is Pakistan doing about it?
Did the Asia group introduce conditions that are impossible for Pakistan to comply with? really? so you are giving up?
Staying in this list is not good for Pakistan. hence, my statement -- your government is answerable to you.

Come on man.. stop the whining and do something! It's super easy to point fingers but you don't know what these conditions are and you are afraid to ask why Pakistan can't comply to these?

Pakistan's leadership can't get things in order to clear its name from the grey list.

Pakistan is not in the business of pleasing anyone except itself nor does it care about bogus lists but the intention behind them which it doesn't approve.. Pakistan morally sees itself above the list nor approve of these behind it who clearly made a miscalculating move. Such lists can never be valid if the mother of financing THE US and A can't be grey listed it is worse nothing more than a toilet paper

Do you know our UN peace keeper protect the interest of capitalist those who dug out Diamonds and expensive stones from Africa and pay dirt cheap price to corrupt local leaderships.. ....
So I will say let's bring the black mailers on their knees.

Not quite. Any group is only good as the interests of those who make that group. You really think France and Iran would recieve equal treatment in FATF? There is always a angle of geo-politics in these things. Notice how countries close to Pakistan hesitated or voted for Pakistan. This is like claming UN resolutions are apolitical. They are not. Trying pushing one against Israel.

The problem is Pakistani's have a elevated sense of themseleves. They have dime value in the world but as you can see on PDF they think nothing moves without Pakistan. So instead of behaving themselves and taking extreme care considering the countries fragile nature Pakistani's behave like Israel or India.

The problem is those in high places including even so called 'Arab' brothers will please USA by overlooking what goes on there but in case of Pakistan not one country will stand by it.

The entire fcukin ummah vanishes leaving secular goraTurks or athiest Chinese. But even they wil only go so far to burn their fingers for Pakistan as they don't like looking like odd loonies in 120 nation conferances.
FATF scrutinises banking and financial institutions and government oversight. You're asking the wrong questions if you ask why France wasn't rapped by FATF or say US or GB for money laundering while Iran was blacklisted or Pakistan grey listed while India is let off the hooks.

You will have to prove it to them your actions and laws you created at the recommendations of FATF has produced X results and Y people were caught etcetera. For example

You are part of the problem if you believe somehow India and west is the reason Pakistan is stuck at FATF. And that if you make friends with them, it will go away. It didn't work for Turkey, it's not like they were in bad terms with West, they are in NATO and is anything but very cordial to the new Biden administration and EU in general. But they tried to circumvent FATF panel recommendations through flimsy laws resulted in them getting grey listed. Being a member country didn't help them. You need to revamp your fin institutions and fulfill FATF requirements at least upto the modern standards. It will only be good for you for investments and business in general.

And you think others do? As regards caring do you even understand how much this hurts the economy and thus weighs down on the 10s of millions of poor in Pakistan. Do you care about them? Your mis-directed arrogance is simpky saying 'I don't care but let the poor Pakistani's suffer'.

I was actually expecting India to be in grey list this time. Lucky that this did not happen
The scrutiny is not over, it will happen in 2022 and hopefully we don't get grey listed. The whole Mauritian fiasco left a bad taste in RBIs mouth.
Mauritius is out of grey list today. :kiss3::ashamed:
No more funneling funds through MU for our businessmen😁

Bingo. ALL countries wanting to participate in the global banking system must meet a set of common minimum standards. That is all there is to it. Meet them to participate in the system, or choose to not participate in the system. Pretty easy decision, actually.

I agree with the thrust of what your saying but my point is the probability of being listed all things considered equal is greater if you have conflicted relationships with major countries or blocks. I am surprised by Turkey going on the list but despite their very strong geo-political position and weight Erdogan has been throwing his weight about - particularly with Americans and Europeans. The purchase of Russian S-400 by Turkey was blowing smoke up the noses of Americans. Erdogan also had a run in with Macron. So there are plenty of countries in positions of power who won't exactly shed years over Turkey being listed. It also places Turkish economy in even more strain which will impact Turkish living standards and could be the cause of Erdo's defeat in the coming 2023 elections.

Something the West dearly wants ....

Banking sector is fucked up. FATF is the kick in the balls Pakistan needs to revamp the sector. On one hand you had TTs taking billions out of the country by politicians, and on the other you had banks denying people a bank account because they're unemployed or don't have a business in their name. Just a cursory look at major bank online systems, most of them aren't qualified to run a chola stand (Silk Bank mobile app I'm looking at you).
