Even for Arabs don't take a loan as a tribute. Pakistan has lots of friends, but at the end you have to stand up yourself. If not, nobody can help!
Be honest to you buddy...Pakistan and its rivallary with India is giving you enough leg room to China to concentrate your energy on big fishea like USA....At least give respect to people where it is due..

Fbr needs to be culled...
Imran khan rightly said the other day that if the people can not make fbr right then close it down and make a new fepartment from scratch. Make sure fbr guys are banned from the new organization no matter who pious they are. It would be a difficult 3 yrs but fbr is the root cause of the problem. Just to give u an idea, of all the taxes collected by fbr close to to 3/5 is collected automatically via income tax and through various companies that deal via banks. This is shear stupidity.
I sincerely believe that if fbr can sort out the taxable income of 5 sectors.. Just 5 sectors.. That would make a substantial difference to the national kitty... These are
1..Medical doctors:
Many senior doctors of a particular field per big city have a daily income/profit of 4 to 350,000 rupees. Its a very very conservative estimate.
Same way a few established GPs across pakistan mint money per day.
1b... Dentist
One of the most rich class of pakistanis. dentist with a gud setup where ever he or she may be based is minting money. Couple that with a gud hand and u r sitting on a gold mine. I know a few young dentists who make close to half a million profit per day. The older or established ones make that much per week.
1c... Hospitals
Many hospitals have an almost zero balance sheet or they show charity as a huge part of their expenses. many have a trust side of their commercial business which helps in taxation matters.
2.. Restaurants
What they earn and what they show is like 2 sides of the same coin. One needs to just visit the few desi breakfast outlets in lahore, gujrawala and pindi only to have an idea of how much these ppl make.
3.. Landlords.
Across punjab and sindh... The chaudheris, waderas, sardars... Anyone who has a mango/citrus/cheeku/banana orchid on his land spread over a few acres or someone who has over 25 acres of cultivable land is making gud money. I have relatives, friends and family who make a decent living from less than 20 acres so can well imagine what these big guns would be making. Problem is these people mainly deal in cash. I say check their accounts, fertilizer sale, sale of the commodity to grain/vegetable market, their standard of living and tax these landlords.
4... Shop keepers and general stores with gud running.
We all know a few dozen stores which are hardly bigger than our living room and who are minting money. They are spread all over pakistan. Majority of these people deal in hard cash. So we just need to get sale reports from the retail companies and then check their standard of living, buying and investments. I say tax them.
5... Cafe and juice corners.
In lahore i personally know people who run cafes and fresh juice corners. The profit margin is over 100 percent . The difficulty is that many of these people deal in hard cash. One person i know runs a few juice corner, is primary pass and mashallah he just bought a land cruiser worth 24 million on someones name who is in uae.
The aim of highlighting the above is not to malign the said people or to get them under difficult times. The aim is to highlight the incompetency of FBR and identify the free riders who dont do a thing but complain and bad mouth about pakistan.
we have so much potential on pakistan that if just our taxation system starts collecting even 60-65% taxes from the above people.. Even then we would be making close to what we collect through dirext taxes at source i.e from salaried individuals.
Please do understand that i have not included here the big fishes of whole sale markets in shah alam market, jamia cloth, sutar mandi, lohari, mochi, light house etc. The above are like the low hanging fruits ans all it takes is a will and a whip at FBR.

China is similar to Pakistan because we have been forced to defend our interests and sovereighty. Yes, we are facing our enemy, the US, not India. But we would be siding with Pakistan in a Pak-India conflict, because you are always the bullier.
If India ever trys wrong doing on CPEC you'll face Chinese too not only Paks.
