Pakistan to raise Nato helicopter violation issue
Wednesday, 29 Sep, 2010
ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Rehman Malik said on Wednesday that the issue of Nato helicopter violations in Pakistani areas will be raised by the Army Chief in the Pak-Afghan Commission.
While talking to the media outside parliament house, Malik said that Pakistan has strongly protested to the US, Afghan ambassadors and Nato against the recent violation of Nato helicopters.
Malik said that no one is allowed to launch operation within Pakistani borders. He also said that Pakistan is trying to achieve drone technology.
Malik said that he told US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that halting the drone attack in Pakistan will help minimise anti-US sentiment among Pakistani people. DawnNews
