Passing laws doesn't do anything unless you can implement them. It was a murder treat it like one and hang him. Move on.

Lets see what the future brings before write senseless comments ! The West and East bla bla bla always the same crap so it was the west which did wrote our law ? Is it the failure of the west that we needed 60 years to bring this new law ! The world more complex than a west and Pakistan.

Last time I checked, we have a law against acts of murder (Section 302 of PPC). Problem is implementation of existing laws, which is really lacking.

This new law is a meaningless exercise, a publicity-stunt to appease the West and NGOs and an attempt to garner votes of gullible masses.

where its written that this law will stop honor killings, there is now law which can stop crime its the punishemnt which CAN stop it !
