Pakistan to make studying Holy Prophet’s life in Grade 7-9 compulsory

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan said a law will be passed making it compulsory for the students of grade 7 to 9 to study the life and teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH).

He stated this while addressing the concluding session of National Rehmatul Lil Alameen Conference in connection with Eid Milad un Nabi (SAWW) celebrations in Islamabad on Friday.

He said the Holy Prophet made unparalleled accomplishments which no other person can achieve. He said study of Seerat un Nabi (SAWW) will help the students better understand the personality of the Holy Prophet (SAWW) and teachings of Islam.

Prime Minister Imran Khan says Pakistan will take the lead in engaging with the leaders of the Muslim world to effectively counter the surge of Islamophobia in the western world.

He was addressing the concluding session of National Rehmatul Lil Alameen Conference in connection with Eid Milad un Nabi (SAWW) celebrations in Islamabad today (Friday).

The premier said the European countries have no understanding of our religious sentivities and it is our responsibility to get them understood. He said he has already written letters to the heads of Muslim countries and he will personally contact them to evolve a common strategy against Islamophobia.

The Prime Minister said we also believe in freedom of expression but hurting the sentiments of others under its garb is not permissible.

Imran Khan said Pakistan was carved out with the vision to build it on the principles of State of Madina. He said we are confronting problems today because unfortunately we deviated from the ideology of founding fathers.

Earlier, addressing the conference, Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noorul Haq Qadri said we can address the issues faced by society including climate change by taking guidance from the teachings of Hazrat Muhammad Sallaallaho Alaihe Wa Sallam Khatim-un Nabiyeen.

I thought this was already covered grade 1-10
Unless rich people will serve time in Prison for their crimes , the talk of Idealistic society is far fetched

Prime Minister Imran khan has launched some tremendous projects to tackle corruption however the rich people will need to serve time in Prison first before we talk of an ideal society

Good, very good. This might help in overcoming growing islamophobia in our own society. Also will help in containing the rising atheism, feminism, agnosticism in our society. Though, I personally believe that our education system is pure shit, and kids usually see education as a burden due to rata system. I hope, special training is being carried out for teachers who are going to teach these lessons. Also, the exams for these courses shouldn't be less focused on ratta system and more focused on values/morality.

We desperately need a whole institution which bust propaganda, fight misinterpretation and set the record straight when it comes Pakistan and Islam..

This is weird, Prophet's life is already taught in Islamiyat which is taught throughout middle grade to high school, isn't it?

Isn't it compulsory now? What do Pakistani students learn at school about religion?

Dair aye durust aye ..its a shame that its not a mandatory since our independence ..

Why not give the tools and skills to every child so they create a new world

If they could just make Arabic as a compulsory language only that will make a child break free from the slavery of Mullah and slave mentality of west
Personally I beleive that Mullah dont want arabic to be taught in schools.
