the moment they evacuated these "Soldiers" they will again blame pakistan for everything.... My countrymen are just too optimistic.

This will dilute that even in Washington.

Our foremost concern is US forces not overstaying in Afghanistan, this bombing was a means to achieve that. To create pressure to extend their stay . Next one would see was the call to send in more forces.

Its a common solution to all Afghan Taliban, US and Pakistan interest.

US forces are not in karachi ( if the news is true) for combat operations rather to manage evacuation as they are ones running this operation in kabul for the whole coalition. Who will manage the influx, we don't want to be a part of it only a facilitator. Cornering them will leave them with no other choice but to extend their stay and send in more troops or even equipment, playing right into the hands of spoilers. It can get a lot unpredictable from there and will be detrimental to our own interests.

I believe US dropped down troop level at kabul airport so we may see rotations if that is true then islamabad are more easy for them than karachi for ISIS strike they need SOFs not marines Pakistan make sence absolutely

The figure is inclusive of support staff etc. Basically for the people who they did not manage to evacuate by 31st.

Only mistake Biden did was not taking Pakistan into confidence if that happened we may see smooth withdrawal also Talibans are agree with further extension. Actually we will not be asking for anything in return. We are against that relationship, the decisions we took say the same. We want trade and a dignified relation not Aid anymore.

Going extremely negative will play into the hands of our enemies. One needs to learn to protect its interests, live in a dignified way and maintain basic form of relations at the same time.

They asked for airbase we denied them as it was against our national interest irrespective of consequences be it FATF hypocrisy or child soldier list drama. They asked for help in evacuation we agreed as it is in our own interest.

There is nothing they can do more from karachi airport that they can not do from karachi embassy, irrespective of the argument that this is not their intent.
