Now back to topic. Do you think/want these movies to be set it modern day or in the past? Do you prefer them to be set it Pakistan or Iran?

Both, as humans we actually need to tell and hear stories, as they say everything and everyone has a story to tell, what I wanted to say is before certain people derailed the discussion, this is a brilliant and long overdue move, that is mutually beneficial and exciting. Looking forward to the collaboration.

They can use the prime time slot for 40 to 50 minute documentaries which can enhance deeper understanding of Iranian society.

So the culture of cinema has been declining in Pakistan because indian movies have been banned in Pakistan? Really?!

You the situation among Pakistanis is ridiculously absurd, when the culture of cinema in Pakistan, hinges on whether filthy bollywood movies being screened in the country or when they're banned. Tells a lot about the pathetic state of Pakistani society, where the majority of Pakistanis worship, lap-up nasty indian bollywood movies.

Pakistanis have never really recognized their identity. Always associating with indiots, or turks, or Arabs, or little green extraterrestrials.

The pathetic state of Pakistani psyche is evident when they chose to follow every j@ck@$$ culture under the sun and turn a blind eye toward who they really are suppose to be .... exemplary Muslims. Pakistanis do not even acknowledge the very real fact that without Islam, there would be NO Pakistan!!!! This is how pathetic the state of Pakistani mentality really is.

Pakistanis really need to take a long, hard look into themselves and ask who is it they really are? Nationalism is doomed to fail, faux Muslim Brotherhood Country alliances where Islam is totally absent, will also end up utter failure. Allowing yourself to be influenced by pagan, jahil, idolators' bollywood movies is a recipe for utter disaster.

All you are left with, all you need is and all you can ever achieve success with, is Islam.

Back to the topic please, which is IRANIAN CINEMA & the potential of Pakistani artists/industry collaborating with Iranian Cinema.

On the subject of collaboration, Pakistan has been broadcasting Turkish shows for a while now - has there been any kind of broader technical collaboration with the Turkish film industry? I hope the goal isn’t to just take Turkish or Iranian content and dub it to Urdu and broadcast it for Pakistani audiences.
