well if Indian politicians get involved in this again then i don't see India playing in Pakistan, i think Pakistan will go ahead with that but it will be quite boring without Pak vs Ind matches.Forget India, if other countries can participate, then you guys should go ahead schedule the Asia Cup.India should go to Pakistan and play the series...
Bangladesh too...India will say that they will not go to pakistan and matches will be held in Dubai
Fine line but I accept that. Let's just say it was far too much influence.no seriously bro Sports and politics should never be mixed together, India has great influence on ICC but i wouldn't say that its controlled by BCCI.
There was never any real push for that. Mere grandstanding by the current Govt. England and especially Australia are happy to toe the Indian line.Indian board did try to have their match against Pakistan cancelled or something, right? Whatever happened to poor guy, Srinivasan and his ambitions to rule ICC? Well at least he kept politics and sports separate.
Let be realistic here, India has more influence and rightly so too but it doesn't control ICC and it never can as long as England and Australia are there.
Politics has always been part of sport. Black glove raised. Recent kneeling by African American athletes. Suspension of South Africa. Boycott of LA and Moscow Olympics. Why blame India alone?Hahaha, how happy you seem to bring politics in sport. Only India can do that.
