Obviously not...you guys have waaaayy more variety in cars.

We only have the "big three" -> Suzuki, Toyota and Honda. They've created a oligopolistic market here in Pakistan. Any other brand that tries to set up shop is quickly shut down by various means. They also collude with each other in car lines/types. If you want a small car - you go for Suzuki...no other option. You want a bigger car - Toyota Corolla or Honda City & Civic or Suzuki Liana. And it has been this way for YEARS.

It's just a trend people here spend more on cars.

Dont take that Im trolling. But these Amby s are mine proof and would be of great use there. Chandrababu Naidu escaped the Maoist IED attack purely because of the Amby. He escaped unhurt and the damage was just a badly bent chassis.

Not to mention that except for the Safari, there is no other car with a more comfortable rear bench seat. Its a proper sofa.

1. Indian Automobile Industry Evolution: Almost all had collabration with Japanese company , Hero with Honda, Bajaj with Kawasaki, Escort with Yamaha, Maruti with Suzuki, Tata with Mazda etc... From there we build our industry. If Pakistan want good industry they must collaborate in same manner. Pakistani can collaborate with Bajaj and Hero (cheaper than japs now) and then buiild there base.

2. Japs are looting you, CD70 is highly overpriced. I think Bangladeshi make better looking bikes.

3. Alone Pakistani can't build big industry, They need assistance at cheaper rate, Pakistani Automobile sector is highly monopolistic, look like the vendors are involved in price fixing...

Sad but true, Pakistani bikes have better quality and are technically more advanced than Indian bikes.Waiting for Metro Dabang 70cc to hit the Indian market

This bike costs 38,000 Pkr whole sale price with 50,000 PKr Insurance :p surely indians must be looking for this bike

Honda and Bajaj compete with each other not only in India but in ASEAN region and Latin america also when it comes to sub 500 cc motorcycles.. You probably don know that those countries import Indian bikes in great numbers and bajaj have opened manufac. turing plants in Peru and Indonesia to meet their demand..

dude i was saying that ur comparing prize of Atlas-honda in our country to yr country's domestic company's bikes prize.
The Atlas-honda is based on japan's honda company which is international company so its obvious their prize will be high. if u wish to compare then compare the prize of Atlas honda with Hero-honda , suzuki,Yamaha etc which r international companies in yr country for bikes.

okay i thought something else, sorry about that.. but then they (atlas-honda) do have production plant in your country don't they ? and I believe they source all the raw material from within your country itself, if it is correct then high price is not justified..So like most Indian I also believe that Honda is cheating you guys ,they could have atleast bring some design/engine modifications that would make a bike a little more attractive..

Dude stop embarrassing yrself, before giving yr precious answer plz read my comment with a little concentration.
I mentioned abt yr country not mine except for the last paragraph.
All i said was abt how international companies struggle in yr country n how that has effected yr domestic quality which is truth no doubt n what i said abt our country is that we had allowed foreign investment right from start without much restrictions so the quality in our market's products have got better then yours which is right as well because here foreign companies compete against each other, there is no real domestic market as yet n the one who is they r just newly developed n will take time to expand n improve just like the one u showed.

Leasing a car is not the same as Car loan. When you lease a car, you don't pay the full price of the car and have to return it back once the lease period is over. The amount you pay is calculated considering the estimated value of the car after that particular time period. Of course many companies give you the option of buying it out after your lease period is over.

I think it is light yrs ahead of Al-Khalid Mk X. Put a Human bomb over it and volla it can destroy entire buildings !! Plus the Advertisement itself says its "Unbreakable" so no matter if M1 Abrahms or Arjun or whatever fires at it will go on and on, it the "pure people" who have written it how can that be wrong ?? Hope PA looks into it and GoI doesn't extradite me for treason (Giving PA the ultimate weapon)

Yes it has production plants not just a plant n they dont depend solely on Pak for those plants just the people who work there r Pakistanis n the basic raw materials r from here but technical system comes from japan n so as for hero-honda in yr country the have plants, the manufacture products for the local market locally, also the have indian people working as the staff there but the technical system or design comes/ approves from the company's HQs which r in japan n r expansive too as compared to the indian bike producers. Thats because the international MNCs only go for profit thats all is in their minds n thats the sole reason why they invest in the other countries to make money only not to the betterment of the people or country.
Take this American Chevrolet for example even its small car in the size of yr Maruti is way too expensive that even the middle or upper middle or elites can afford in yr country.

Hmm not quite, HH has an onshore design team which produced the design of Hero Honda Splendor which was a mega success and believe it or not even 15yrs ago when it was launched it was priced les than 50K INR and its a 100cc bike. Latter on other companies jumped in bringing something very new to the table and price slice. Hence we have an auto industry which produces world class bikes without any foreign hook ups.

As far as Chevy spark is concerned its one of the most affordable stylish small car in Indian market. Donn u get from the comparision that I bought that thing in my college with nothing but my savings+Scholarship+a bit of dad's help !! I drove my college that thing.
