None of the above mentioned item appear in MODP book. If it is in MODP book then it means it is already at advancr stage ... we keep on doing alot of R&D but dont disclose unless technology is aquired
Brother the weapons which i have mentioned is not aliens technically.. Why to hide if most countries have these since decades... Dont u think we are far far behind in these fields?? For ICBM im ok with that we don't need to show the world.. But hypersonic/supersonic missiles Nuclear subs, are must have weapons for the survival of sovereign nations... we are still importing subsonic engines of babur missile, how do u even think a super sonic missile or hypersonic missile at this stage
 
Western world focus is intelligent subsonic cruise missiles which can detect and evade interceptor while eastern / Russian approach is high speed Which mean they can be detected easily at long range and intercepted as well by multiple interceptor at long range ,time will tell which philosophy is correct

I think LRASM are suitable for US as they are an island country far from adversary like China and Russia whereas Pakistan neighbour living next door most of the skirmish will be at close range therefore hiding the missile and attacking platform is difficult.

At close range speed might have advantage then stealth

Because this is how we operate in secrecy ... if we can import turbojet then what makes you think we cant import ramjet ? We have already tested initial booster rocket tech in babur three ... our navigation and seeker systems are already tested ... why do you think we cant replace a turbo jet with ramjet ? There is no restriction on sale of ramjet
 
The fact is that IN had the location of all other subs of PN but just one.
That one was nowhere near Indian waters or even international waters but was comfortably docked in Pak base.
I would have been worried if IN wouldnt have been able to detect the location of that one sub if it were in international waters but thats not the case.
You should be worried how IN was aware of the location of all PN subs.

How do you know where it was and and where it operated. You people live in Bollywood lala land. Do you know what it was doing in the proceeding two weeks prior docking back in Pakistan waters?

Of course the might Indian Navy knows the location of PN sub and perhaps its signature. Oh Damn..... my mistake....

We definitely need more and smart investments in PN. Difference in Numbers and strengths between 2 navies speak volumes so please do your home work before making tall claims.

Perhaps for offensive purpose yes. For Defence, combination of land based missile batteries and PN ships Pakistan is able to prevent any blockade from occurring.

Example Harba missile has quoted range of 400-700km. Now draw a direct line from Pakistan coast of say 400km. at battery place near karachi can hit ships at Gujarat's coast (modi's home state). We can keep our shipping lines clear as least for oil supply and at the same time we can prevent oil reaching India.

We can hit any ship within that range without even deploying PN ships which will add next layer.

As I said the Blockade in this day and age, with PN's strength is a wet dream and will remain a wet dream. They can try and result will be another 27/2.
 
Pakistan’s Supersonic Missile Should Work From Small Launch Platforms

In its 2017-2018 disclosure, Pakistan’s Ministry of Defence Production (MoDP) stated that the Directorate General of Munitions Production (DGMP) signed-off on the development of a supersonic missile for the Pakistan Navy (PN). It is likely that the PN’s goal is to acquire a capability analogous to India’s BrahMos – i.e., a supersonic-cruising dual anti-ship cruise missile (ASCM) and land-attack cruise missile (LACM).

But while one can expect the PN to configure its larger ships – such as the forthcoming Type 054A/P frigate and Jinnah-class corvette/light frigate – with the supersonic missile, the optimal scenario would be to also arm smaller launch platforms. For the PN, this would mean its fast attack craft (FAC), such as the Azmat-class, but it should also include the Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) burgeoning JF-17 fleet as well.

The rationale is, simply, to equip as many individual launch platforms with effective stand-off range attack capabilities as possible, especially those platforms that are available in large quantities. In the naval and air combat domains, this would basically be the PN’s FACs and the PAF’s JF-17s.

The benefit of this approach is that it helps Pakistan distribute its stand-off range attack capabilities across a large number of assets. The loss or even downtime of one (for maintenance, repairs, etc) does not lessen Pakistan’s anti-access and area-denial (A2/AD) capability within its exclusive economic zone (EEZ) and sea-lines-of-communication (SLOC). It also makes weakening the A2/AD threshold difficult because there are a large number of potential threats involved, i.e., attempting control will likely result in severe losses.

The Benefits of a Naval Supersonic Cruise Missile

The addition of a supersonic-cruising ASCM/LACM provides Pakistan with a varied anti-shipping capability, one that already has multiple subsonic options (i.e., Harbah, Zarb, C-802A, Harpoon, and Exocet).

A supersonic-cruising ASCM/LACM adds another factor, which, in turn, reduces the PN’s predictability. In of itself, a supersonic-cruising ASCM/LACM is also difficult to stop as it offers less time for a response and, even if intercepted, can cause residual damage to the target via its wreckage and high terminal velocity.

Granted, while an analogous capability to the BrahMos, a supersonic-cruising ASCM/LACM is not a direct counter to comparable missiles. For that, the PN will need to invest in its anti-air warfare (AAW) capability, especially in terms of high-velocity, relatively long-range point-defence missile systems (PDMS).

However, as missile trends (especially in the East) move from supersonic to hypersonic systems, the PN is unlikely to be able to invest in the necessary air defence capabilities to stop such threats. Rather, it should focus on developing analogous capability – and widely deploying it – to deter the use of such weapons.

Pakistan Can Develop a Potent FAC Platform

For the PN, its lowest-cost launch platform would be FACs. In fact, it is already arming its FACs for long-range land-strikes through the Harbah, which it test-fired from the PNS Himmat, an Azmat-class FAC, in January 2018 and April 2019. Pakistan did not disclose the Harbah’s range, but if it is based on the Babur, then a reach of 450-700 km is plausible. The Harbah is a subsonic dual-ASCM/LACM.

To effectively deploy the Harbah ASCM/LACM from the Azmat-class FAC, the PN must have developed (or is certainly on track to doing so) a robust network-enabled warfare environment. For land-attack, the PN need only send information about fixed targets to the FACs, but for anti-ship operations, the FACs would need real-time targeting information from long-range, off-board radars…

Small fast ships, difficult to target carrying weapons that could do considerable damage to larger war ships

The Iranians have a similar concept with their speed boats
 
in coming days, mostly fighter jet will be used as plat form for the launch of super sonic missile, Like india decided to use SU30mki for Berhamos. Thats the reason Pakistan badly need middle weight fighter jet rather than large inductions of very light weight JF-17. Bec modern jet have to carry supersonic missile in coming days.

What is fast about Azmat class? type 21s could do 36 knots max.

A boat doing 40+ would have been fast.
