AK-12 if available in 7.62 X 39 caliber should come instead of AK-103 to replace Type 56 but for G3 we should go for FN SCAR

Pakistan is planning to purchase a big batch of AK-103 assault rifles manufactured by Russia’s Kalashnikov Corporation, a source in the Pakistani Defense Ministry told TASS at the Eurosatory 2016 defense and security international exhibition.

"Pakistan’s Armed Forces are planning to purchase a big number of AK-103 assault rifles as they can be used in the country’s hot weather conditions," the source said.

Pakistani Defense Ministry needs about one million new assault rifles," the source said. The source did not specify the potential proportion of Russian-made automatic rifles.

The 7.62mm AK-103 assault rifle is the most advanced version of the widely-used Kalashnikov AKM automatic rifle.

Ak 103 may be used in close quarter battles, guerrilla warfare, unconventional warfare, COIN operations like in war on terror or operation zarb e azb kind of operations. Whereas FN Scar H, if inducted, will be used for conventional warfare. Both are equally good and should be inducted. But, negotiate well and negotiate with ToT with a check that nobody goes for commissions. A deal with ulterior motives always fail. So, ensure honesty and hold national interest supreme.

I am a strong believer that if you buy F 35 through dishonesty and seeking commissions, you will fail. Regards.

Russian & Chinese military hardware has its own class and instead of relying on USA, Pakistan should consider including Russian and Chinese weapons part of military.

Likely scenario is we will produce a K 103 in pof in large quantity however not huge quantity ie as main service rifle but mainly unconventional warfare and we will have no rights to export it etc and we will mass produce the other gun eg scar with all rights and use it to arm all units except those in coin ops as ak preferred by them any way as ak is cheap and preferred wo hooo the emoji explain what I feel about the new rifle deal we need solid info on it if some one knows please share as for ak any ak is coming to kill some ttp

Bro it's expensive and we need just an upgrade for the ak47(type 56) and ak 103 being cheaper will be just fine think of it like us still using mg3 it's very old but does the job fine also like colt m1911 100 year old pistol I think still used

a bad choice .. The main drawback of the AK-103 is its accuracy. However, the AK-103 has good rate of fire in comparison to weapons with better accuracy. so ... they picked up quantity rather than quality

We improved accuracy of Ty 56 with accessories so I don't think any trouble attaching holo or acog with fore grip laser etc on 103 mate

it's just that some people think we will replace g3 with it however it is ordered only to replace Ty 56 in limited quantities
