ISLAMABAD: National Highway Authority (NHA) would build four-lane Peshawar-Kabul Motorway land acquisition process will be initiated after the finalization of alignment.
An official of NHA told APP that the motorway project will not only improve connectivity between the two neighbours and Central Asian States but would also bring economic prosperity in the adjacent areas. The 265-km Peshawar-Kabul motorway would connect Peshawar with Afghan capital Kabul, via Jalalabad and Torkham.
The motorway,he said, would be divided into three parts, 50 km long Peshawar-Torkham, 76km Torkham-Jalalabad and 139km Jalalabad-Kabul sections.
