That was my old doctrine, use the Hezbollah and Iranian strategy of mass producing rockets, which can hit the target from a range 20 km to 1300 km, Abdali 1-3, Ghazwani, and Ghauri Arsenal must be increased, 122mm Yarmuck missile rocket launchers must be mass produced!

Lets not downplay the effectiveness of S400 and how it challenges Pakistan's doctrine. India is a conventionally superior force and it's not that easy to go behind the enemy lines. Keeping emotions aside, lets think realistically.

Its a user-training fire. Ghauri has been deployed for years now.

Pakistani media and general public does not differentiate between test, trial, and training firing of missiles.

Also, they might have tested few new subsystems firing less valuable Ghauri before incorporating those advanced new subsystems into top-of-the-line weapon systems like Shaheen and Ababeel series.

Ghauri was designed in 1990's. First test fired in 1998, then successful tests fires conducted in 2010, 2012 and 2015(TEL). Which means its fired every 2-3 years probably for testing any new system.

Ghauri-II was test fired in 1999 and has extended range. Shaheen-II has more range than Ghauri series.
