Well a wonderful helicopter:pop:

It made first flight but it has to have more capabilities (definitely more power, since it took its sweet time to take off) before hitting serial production.

It's better if some company that wants to build helis in Pakistan hires them into their project

All the best to Pakistan.

Man what a disappointment....I was thinking atleast a Typical Local News or Police Pursuit Type Helicopter...

That Helicopter looked like some sort of 4th Year Engineering Students could have put together

Ya matter of fact i was expecting something reasonable too.... still a long way to go......gudluck.

Local chopper projects are critical to the defence industry in Pakistan. The Govt. should definately support them. Also 190 kph is not a bad speed for a prototype, but improved versions can make it a viable candidate for civil and military use. Good Job guys.

How are they planning to use a gyro-copter for airlift ambulances? I might have got excited a little too soon.

its a first leap, surely if the private sector in copters gonna bloom, they have to come out with some good machines too for their busniess to be productive

as armstrong said, one small leap is indeed one giant leap for the future

we made engines for their choppers ourself

Well i guess its just some sort of a half complete prototype...... good luck to them and good luck for their ambulance n security heli ptoject.

its not impossible for pakistan to make its own heli dear but its matter of interest .pakistan is not interested to make its own heli otherwise a country which can make tanks jets missiles nuclear bombs can easily make a light heli.

True, unless there is a huge demand for helis there is no point investing in it. Suppose you need only 150 Helis, whats the point in spending for R&D when you can easily buy that many. I guess thats the reason why pakistans defence industry never ventured into making one
