Dhaka, Nov 15 (bdnews24.com) – Pakistan has taken back its three nationals, arrested in 2009 for their alleged connection with militancy in Bangladesh.

Pakistani embassy in Bangladesh sent them back on Monday after negotiating their release with foreign ministry officials.

The Pakistani nationals were identified as Syed Abdul Kaium alias Sufian, 22, Ashraf Ali Zihad, 24, and Monwar Ali, 30. Sufian used to study mechanical engineering at Islamic Institute of Technology in Gazipur. The two other accused are diploma engineers.

Dhaka Central Jail officials said that the accused were released from the jail on Monday around 10.30 am.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police deputy commissioner Monirul Islam told bdnews24.com that they were kept in jail without charges as there not enough evidence to file case against them.

After receiving information from some militants, arrested from Chittagong, the police on Nov 13 last year arrested the Pakistani nationals from Tongi in Gazipur and Uttara in Dhaka.

After their arrest, the then police commissioner AKM Shahidul Haque at a press conference claimed that they used to work for Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Pakistan-based militant outfit. "Despite their valid visas and passports, they had no permission to work in Bangladesh."

Which mean this students were arrested by Munafiq AL to put a smile on their Hindu masters and create artificial hate toward Pakistanis by ordinary Bangladeshis. I knew all along that these innocent Pakistani were targeted by Al bastards for no other reason but circulate propaganda. Skies please note.

I saw that in newspaper. It’s so disgusting to see that AL is manipulating for the bad image of PK here every day. I also saw that one editor in our newspaper told that by evicting Khaleda from her house AL has accomplished the end of Pakistan based politics in BD after 40 years of BD’s independence. PK should take some initiatives to encounter these. Hope every BD member will dislike the news below.

If your going to post a foreign language at least do so in text so people can goggle translate it, or be courteous to translate it for the wider audience here...

Not a single charge has been proven against them, yet they have been kept in jail for that long and have been labeled as terrorists... Clearly defines the Indian objective and intentions to disgrace Pakistani all around the world. In this case, create a sort of trust deficit between the PK n BD.

In simple one line:

One evil Bangladeshi editor has bashed Pakistan and BNP here and said that: by evicting Khaleda Zia from her house Awami League has drawn the end of Pakistani based politics and wiped out the root of Pakistani stooge completely from the cantonment area in Dhaka after 40 years.

But in my opinion ,he just tried to depict that BNP is some of type stooge of Pakistan to counter balance the accusation on AL for being stooge of India. He has pointlessly correlated the issue of eviction of Khaleda with Pakistan and 71, which is so uncalled for.

As I have said. Circulate propaganda that Pakistanis are terrorists. What's making me ******* mad is that Al bastards intentionally destroyed the life of this future Engineer.

There are thousands of Pakistanis working here and everyday more are entertained with visas in AL regime. The persons in question did have contacts with terrorist groups who were operating in Bangladesh. Their call records as well as their regular visit to places proved that. That did not mean they were guilty of terrorism but certainly they were in suspect list. As the investigation coming to an end and they came out clean, they were allowed to go back. I do agree that their carreer gone screwed but they should had been more carefull and they were old enough to know that. Its a good lesson for them. I wish them good luck back home.

You are contradicting your own conclusion. They can not have link with any terror group because they came clean yet Al government arrested them with prejudgment and then transmit it over air for whole world to see. These students were label as terrorist and claimed that they were expert in weaponry. Malaun infused AL arrested many Pakistani national including this students beginning of it's administration and they all were label as terrorist without any solid evidence. We know the motive behind it.

Good luck!! How funny

Easy for you to say because you are well off but can you feel the pain they have gone though. Can AL return the lost years, bright future and their humility back? They can go back home but this bastardized experience will stay with them and I won't be surprise if they come back with some vengeance.

I hope the person going by proof will apply the same logic and provide the proof for the bolded line (first part).

Also provide the proof for second bold part that they were innocent.

It is not uncommon to not have substansive proof, but when it comes to national interest even a good enough indication makes nations atc. This happens in India and also happens in Pakistan for whom you take side keeping facts aside most of the times.

Basically your use of words is proof enough that you are basied to the core against Hindus and in that sense racist.
"More loyal then the King, applies to you"

What a moronic statement !!! Why the hell do you bring religion into place - Hindu masters?? Its really a shame - a person can stoop so low by hatred. Going by your logic of illegally detaining INNOCENT pakistanis -- why bother releasing them now ? Why not hold them back till the next government led by the other begum releases them. Why should the government go through these hassles of people like you pointing out "Ohh innocent pakistanis/burmese/bhutanese were put in jails"....What will AL gain by these stunt? Will bangladesh revolt if they hadnt been released. So spew these venom to takers who are sympathetic to your cause and pakistan.

The leader of SIMI (Students Islamic Movement of India - a banned org in India) was arrested way back in connection with a bomb blast and then later released after a long investigation since there was no conclusive proof. Sure enough after a year he orchestrated another bomb blast and went into hiding in the gulf. The reason why i said that - Security agencies will detain any one whom they think posses a national threat. Good thing about these whole incident - they were let go once charges were cleared.
