No new teams added though it was planned after the conclusion of first edition. However this is not happening this time around. The final however is still on for Lahore as planned after the first edition.

I hope that we do add a couple of more teams for the third PSL. Kashmir and FATA anyone?
Damn i thought they're gonna add Kashmir team and maybe Multan :(

Lahore Qalandar all the wayy, the most aggressive and passionate looking team!! Dama Dam Mast Qalanadar.!!!

It looks white western countries' players remain the highest number of foreign players selected and interested to play in PSL 2....like PSL 1.

The English, New Zealanders & Aussie teams have send vast number of players available for PSL 2017.....only other are the West Indians which have got 8 players selected to play for PSL franchises.

Looking at Banglasesh Premier League, hardly any Western White players interested to play in 2015 last year BPL.

Similarly Indian Premier League had vast drop down of English, Western White looking players....where west indians were given preference.

Anyway excited and really happy to see 400 International players' pool from which 5 Pakistani franchies had to select players from....this has got bigger and better....a very effective PSL system has been established. We need 2 new teams atleast....to select more international and domestic players.

Also media, internet, & tv broadcasting rights has to increase...get a contract with OSN Sports, Sky Sports, ESPN, Channel 4, Super sports for international world audience...bring new HD graphics and excitement.

Good luck PSL. Good luck Pakistanis.

Not Multan, Kashmir should be the next one and then may be FATA. We do not want to add multiple teams from a same province unless we can do it for all provinces. A total of 7 or 8 teams will be best for PSL and we should keep the domestic season seprate will teams from all major cities like the Sialkot Stallions, Faisalabad Wolves, Multan, Pindi Hyderabad, Gwadar/Khuzdar, Mardan, Abbotabad, Kashir etc.

KARACHI: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) team Quetta Gladiators has signed all-rounder Abdul Razzaq as the assistant/bowling coach ahead of the second edition of league.

Razzaq will replace Ian Pont, who was the assistant coach in first edition as Gladiators played the final against Islamabad United.

The 36-year-old Abdul Razzaq has represented Pakistan in 46 Tests, 265 ODIs and 32 T20s, scoring 7,419 runs and taking 389 wickets in international career across all formats.

Razzaq said that he is excited to take next step in his career with Gladiators. “I’m really excited to join Quetta Gladiators as assistant/bowling coach because this will be the start of a new phase in my life and what better team to start with,” Razzaq said. “There comes a time when you got to step into coaching and management and it’s the reality we must face. Pakistan has given so much to me and now it’s time to give it back.”

Meanwhile, Gladiators owner Nadeem Omar has hoped that Razzaq’s presence in management would improve the team with his experience as one of the best finishers of his generation.

“Razzaq was a true match-winner of his generation and delivered on numerous occasions both with the bat and ball so he will definitely help the team improve all-round play,”g Nadeem said.

"We want to make Gladiators the best team and Razzaq is the latest edition in our quest of PSL title. I would also like to thank Ian Pont for his services and hope he does well in his life ahead,” he added.
