Shahzad and Nabi picked in Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20 cricket league

Afghanistan’s Mohammad Shahzad and former skipper Mohammad Nabi have been picked by Pakistan Super League (PSL) Twenty20 cricket league.
The two Afghan players, right-handed batsman Shahzad and right-handed batsman and off break bowler Nabi, have been included in the PSL 2016.
Shahzad has been picked by Peshawar Zalmai in supplementary picks while Team Quetta retained Mohammad Nabi along with the other players Mohammad Nawaz, Asad Shafiq, and Saad Nasim.
Nabi was picked in the player draft for the inaugural Pakistan Super League (PSL) last year.
Born in central Logar province of Afghanistan on 1st January 1985, Nabi has played 56 One Day International (ODI) matches, 33 Twenty20 International matches, as well as 26 First-class, 89 List A and 77 Twenty20 matches.
He served as the national cricket team captain from early 2013 until earlier this year and was replaced by Asghar Stanikzai after submitting his resignation.
Nabi has a strike rate of 88.02 in One Day International (ODI) matches and 128.48 in Twenty20 International matches.
Having a bowling style of Right-arm offbreak, Nabi has bowled in 56 One Day International (ODI) matches, 33 Twenty20 International matches, as well as 26 First-class, 89 LIst A and 77 Twenty20 matches.
But for the opening Afghan batsman and wicket keeper Moammad Shahzad, this will be first appearance and debut in Pakistan Super League (PSL).
