in any Indian armoured advance, and they are more than capable of taking out any airborne enemy platforms before they can get close enough to launch a hellfire missile.
Problem is that, in highly saturated ECM environment, it will be hell of job for these things radar to track down very small RCS UCAV, whose first aim is to take down enemies eyes and sting.
Also we will be happy if your strike corps spend their expensive ammo on low cost decoy UAVs.
Also its not only UCAV coming for hunt of large slow moving Armored corps but MBRL, Stand off munitions and Attack helos.
This is what battle is all about, its not that simple as you are trying to portray.

.
how come you know that? , have been in the project (i am serious)?

in my opinion looks mean nothing, every airplane looks the same in some way. and the word based is not a relevant word in airplane designing anyway

There is a difference between repainting airplane, copying, reverse engineering or deriving from a design and developing a UAV from it. Gives you a jump start. You cut time on designing and testing. It is a good thing not bad. Then it is not a replica. It has design changes and improvements. Once you have a design, you can work on what really matters in a UAV i.e. sensors and communications. Design has little significance. It is not going for a dog fight or super-cruise or something. It just needs to fly there and back.

time to retire most of your air force fleet then, the burraq will do it all, at the fraction of the cost of a frontline fighter :azn:

interesting analysis though, I'm just friendly "trolling" :partay:
Add the Air force to that ...

Definitely a great achievement. It will strengthen our defense capabilities in fight against TTP and other state enemy.
