Both are difficult to be irrigated from kpk, even from sindh too, due to no natural flow... there used to be nara river,.. now there is nara canal, originating from Sindh river. So any stored water in kpk can be supplied to sindh river, then to nara canal and thus some part of tharparkar but with losses.How a dam built in kpk can irrigate regions of Therparker? Or may areas around Quetta?
to drain quetta from kpk is not possible as there is no natural slope there (kpk to quetta)... as altitude is different..
P.S.. Oooppsss edited... nearly all kpk river like gomal, kabul, swat ends up in indus so technically the dam water can be fed to tharparkar... @fitpOsitive
and dams can only be built in hills where reservoir can be formed.. in plain, only barrage can be made so no lake but just blocks water till bank height...
