ISLAMABAD (APP): Pakistan on Saturday condemned the senseless terrorist attack in Dhaka that had led to the loss of precious lives and injuries to many innocent people.

“The Government and the people of Pakistan extend their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and the brotherly people and Government of Bangladesh over the loss of innocent lives and wish the injured early recovery,” the Foreign Office said in a statement.

Pakistan stands in solidarity with the brotherly people of Bangladesh and is confident that the Government of Bangladesh will effectively counter this cowardly attack, the statement said.

“Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” it added.

I think our brother & sisters in Bangladesh stood with us and we , of course, stand with them only..but I think @IceCold is referring to the official stand of Bd govt which has not been positive lately and perhaps if it did say something positive...it was too feeble that it did not make to Pakistan...

Sir not all of the people are the same....Please do not make sweeping statements about a nation as we hate other people making sweeping statements against Pakistan right?
So most of them are pretty good and kind people and they like Pakistan for being brother and sisters in the faith. I'm talking of my personal experience.
I will stand with them...though I don't like the current puppet Bd govt and its actions

Bengal has borne the brunt of us west Pakistanis arrogance and ethnic chauvinism. If we want to help Pakistan we should give up our "provincialism" as Jinnah wanted and stop demonizing Bengalis. Perhaps the fact that they went through a lot of trouble because we didn't accept their elected government has saved them from brutal terrorism today. The attack today I hope is a one time thing-I hope it never occurs in the land of patriots like Fazlul Haq, Nurul Amin, Khwaja Nizamuddin.

And this is reflected in their voting preference. Also see how they rejoice on the extra judicial killing of JI leader because they were with Pakistan in 71. Point being their no lost love between them and us. Had that been the case they would have not backstabbed us in 71 and sided with India. We need to learn to differentiate between friends and foes.
