None of it is relevant until it fits into the geostrategic vision China and Pakistan share for the region, the US is an outsider and India is the underdog compared to China. India holds zero leverage over Pakistan and US's leverage is all but declining.

Pakistan will bring the Mumbai perpetrators to justice if India lets us speak to the witness which won't happen because they killed him before we could interview him. Obama is a hypocrite who wouldn't ask India to bring the hindutva terrorists who carried out Samjhota attack to justice. Till India is willing to cooperate nothing will change.

US outsider or Not but he is clearly part of the Problem in AfPak/SAsia, Central Asia & South China Sea......by teaming up with US instead of regional powers, how can India think of Regional Peace? I just don't understands?

India's dream of connectivity with C.asia is impossible without PAK's cooperation and that means not screwing around with PAK's security interest and trying to destabilize it from within which India is so good at with regards to all countries of S.asia. Hindutvadis have to realize that its not strong enough to be considered the undisputed regional power of S.asia. The best it can always do is create political instability in the region in an attempt to dominate other smaller countries but can never ensure long term cooperative relations due to their hegemonic bigoted psyche.
