It is unlikely that US will sell F-35 to Pakistan anytime soon.

However, what I'm wondering is....does Turkey have the rights to export F-35 as well, or does that have to be approved by US as well?

even if pakistan can afford for the prize of over $158 millions a piece, the u.s. won't sell it to pakistan. jsf f35 is designed for u.s. and her allies which pakistan is not.
u.s. does not even sell super computer to Pakistan, the best can be...just some retired and obsolete weapon systems. people need to wake up from day dream

Anyways we don't need the Junk F-35 which is grounded every other week and its operational costs are like hell.

Pakistan Air Force is working on its own Stealth fighter with the Chinese and JF-17 Blocks to be made Stealth. (Block II/III).

Hence problem solved without buying Junk, and even the DSI makes RCS of JF-17 around 1m^2 which is lower then Su-30MKK/MKI and can get a kill of Bharti Sukhoi with the SD-10.

Su 30s have much larger, and more advanced radars. The MKI will see the JF17 first. Not to mention better BVRs than the SD 10.
