Pakistan should build better ties with Israel to drive out India: Musharraf

India has already responded and I completely agree with our Foreign Minister's statement

"I think it is between Israel and Pakistan to decide what kind of relationship they want to establish, as much as it is between Israel and India to decide what kind of relationship we want to establish", Foreign Minister S M Krishna said at a press conference answering a question on the issue.

"We will certainly not come in the way of Israel having its relationship with any other country because each relationship stand ultimately on the values on which we stand for," the Minister, who is on a two-day visit here to mark 20 years of the establishment of Indo-Israeli diplomatic ties.

However, Krishna said that India and Israel have a lot in common, being two democracies that are governed by rule of law and adult suffrage among many other things.

So different from the hissy fit that Pakistani politicians seem to throw whenever India and Afghanistan relations come up..

I hope Musharraf's fate is going to be same as BB , as he will be back to Pakistan.

He has blood in his hand.. He have to pay for his deeds one day.. No doubt about it..

To drive India out?

When this delusional idiot learn about reality. Neither, middle east to ASEAN, or central Asia or Indian ocean, India is every where. Try to make some spaces in some places rather than thinking about driving India out.

The only thing I can say is......................................HE'S FUNNY !!!

Don't understand why people say "Musi will killed"...Bhai he is friend of Kayani, remember how he was made army chief by him..
And also i think, the current situation which is created in pakistan between army and Government is nothing but something already planned..
Get ready for another "Takhta Palat"..
Ontopic : Yes, pakistan can go for friendship with Israel..But it is pakistan which has to start the process of sending their foreign delegates to israel, bcoz as far as israel is concerned they won't start the process of friendship or any deplomatic talks..
Bcoz, every1 is aware of the "Molvi Brigades" in pakistan..

I don't think so Mr Mussharaf. Seriously what planet does this man live on? Is possible for one man to be so out of touch with reality? The Paksitani peoe will never agree to this nor will, more importantly, the Pakistani military. Neither will the Israelis not only would the Israeli people be staunchly against this but the Israeli establishment as a whole. The Isaelis, by nature, take the lives of their citizens very seriously and they know very well who sent men to kill Israeli Jews in Mumbai in 2008.

But what do you expect from a man who divided how time between his mansions in Britain and Dubai. The phrase "out of touch" simply doesn't cut it.

yes we should establish at least some limited under-the-table contact with them....absolutely

. .
Bottom line? The relationship between India and Israel comes down to money and arms. India is a huge buyer of arms from Israel, Pakistan has strained ties with India, Britain, and the US (all key Israeli allies) until Pakistan can mend its relationships with those countries, and develop its economy to a state where it is able to make large purchases of weapons/items, I don't see a real relationship ever happening anytime soon.

.
Tell me how you get on with that.:rofl:

well it starts off with ''courtesies''

ISI warning Mossad about possible attacks on israeli/jewish targets in hindustan seems like a damned good start.

doesnt mean we have to be bhai-bhai; but i think it will be good to have at least limited contact with them....even if elements on both sides declare eachother as hostile

If the Sultanate of Oman could have at the very least an Israeli trade office and vice versa between 1996-2000, I don't see why both Pakistan and Israel can't take baby steps towards establishing contacts. Granted the resolution of the Israeli Palestinian issue would be a prerequisite to this happening.
