ISLAMABAD, Sept 12 (APP): Pakistan on Tuesday despatched two more relief flights containing 20 metric tons of medicines, food items, blankets and tents for the people of Lebanon. The consignment, despatched on the instructions of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, will reach Beirut airport on September 13, consequent to the recent lifting of aerial and naval blockade by the Israeli government. The Ambassador of Pakistan in Beirut will hand over the humanitarian supplies to the Lebanese High Relief Commission, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here. The two C-130 planes despatched to Lebanon were loaded with 200 tents, 600 blankets, 10 tons food and 3 tons medicines. Pakistan had earlier despatched four plane-loads of relief supplies to Lebanon during the 34-day conflict, which were delivered at the Latakkia airport in Syria and subsequently transported to Beirut. During the Prime Minister's visit to Beirut and his meetings with the Lebanese leadership on September 4, Prime Minister Aziz had committed additional humanitarian assistance to Lebanon. Last week, the government also announced its decision to send a special contingent to Lebanon exclusively for de-mining operations and clearing of debris, including unexploded ordnance in southern Lebanon.

thankyou indian

Lol. On point.

Israel was looking for an excuse to end their failed invasion. It actually proved Hezbollah could defend itself against Israel, and that Israeli bombing of Beirut could generate international sympathy too quickly.

They jumped the gun, and now they are planning to try again.

Pakistan sends its C-130 Hercules (Reg: 4144) laden with aid for the victims of the horrific blast in Beirut. Pakistan has always taken the lead in extending its helping hand to those in need.
