My take...it will widen further unless Pakistan enhances its' manufacturing/service sector. If u keep allowing Chinese goods inside your country without duties, your domestic industries will be in no position to compete with Chinese goods and eventually shuts down...which will further pushes imports and widens this gap. I really doubt if this CPEC is designed to benefit Pak industry !!
