Pakistan seeks India's expertise in renewable energy

Nothing new your Brain is filled with $hit that's why it remains in toilet only...and Btw may i know what Type of Toilet Tecnology that Pakistan possess that it can share with India.....

I guess he loves TOILET more than his home.... might be he spends more time there....

Oho .... please don't seek India's expertise in renewable energy.

We don't want to increase us to over a billion in due course.

That's the only renewable energy they produce with some expertise.

In return Pakistan should help India in toilet technology for half of their population.

First clean your **** before pointing at others, read the below article from your own news paper which says...

"KARACHI: Public toilets: most neglected basic need"

In Pakistan, nearly 45 per cent of all households do not have access to latrine. Furthermore, only 51 per cent of all households is connected to any form of drainage, of which 35 per cent to open drains and 16 per cent to underground sewers or covered drains. Thus the availability of latrines does not necessarily indicate an improvement in sanitation.

It is also estimated that only five per cent households have access to a municipal garbage collection system. Nearly 81 per cent households do not have any garbage collection system at all. Moreover, inadequate sanitation together with unsafe drinking water supply constitutes a major death and disability threat in developing countries.

Public sector investment in this sector is woefully inadequate. For instance, Pakistan spends less than a percentage point of its GDP on sanitation. Therefore, sanitary conditions here are appalling. Toilets may be available but a proper system for disposal of wastes does not exist. Systems for disposal of liquid and solid wastes are inadequate.

Well I can understand your IQ when you are comparing making toilet with renewable energy!!! - you don't need to be a rocket scientist to build a toilet, any mason with basic knowledge can construct a toilet, I really feel sorry for the state of your country in which you are proudly saying you are going to import your toilet technology in return for a highly sophisticated technology...

Well we are happy to help you in below technology...

I would rather that they make India energy surplus soon and sell electricity directly. Profit margins.

^Not really a fan of chest-beating.

on-topic: india-pk govt. should form an alliance and help form indian JVs with pk companies.
it should be easier, now that we are opening investment channels between the two countries

Selling electricity is the best business proposition for India, co-operation is not. Bdw they can share their water-kit technology with us. :D

The Commerce Secretary, Dr. Rahul Khullar and the Commerce Secretary, Pakistan, Mr. Zafar Mahmood, at the joint press conference, in New Delhi

SME Times News Bureau | 29 Aug, 2012
Renewable energy development can be another area of cooperation between India and Pakistan.

A visiting Pakistan delegation led by Zafar Mahmood, secretary in Pakistan's water and power ministry held talks Tuesday with officials in India's ministry of new and renewable energy.

The high-ranking Pakistan official said that renewable energy being a relatively new area in Pakistan, the interaction had been extremely useful and provided an opportunity to learn from the Indian experience.

Gireesh Pradhan, secretary in the ministry of new and renewable energy, gave the Pakistan delegation a detailed overview of India's journey in the development and application of renewable energy. The focus of the presentation was on solar, wind, biomass and small hydro sectors.

India's achievement in installing over 25,000 MW of grid-connected renewable energy was lauded by the Pakistan delegation.

The Pakistani officials were informed about Indian Electricity Act 2003 and Tariff Policy provisions with reference to the renewable purchase obligation for renewable energy, which makes it mandatory for all power distribution companies to purchase a minimum percentage of power generated through renewables.

The provision is an effective instrument for promoting the use of renewable energy.

The visiting delegation was also informed about fiscal and financial incentives given by the union government to promote renewable energy.

Pak seeks India's expertise in renewable energy

Much better to hire some Japanese, Koreans OR Germans who are much better in every way.

I heard a while ago that PMTF is looking to produce Windmills on their own as they said that they have all the expertise in this sector. I hope that If they need anyone else they should Hire some Germans, as they have vast experience in this field.
