Pakistan seeks explanation about Inu's Baluchistan remarks

Pakistan wants to know in details from Bangladesh about recent comments made by Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu on Baluchistan during his visit to India.

Bangladesh High Commissioner in Islamabad Tarik Ahasn had a meeting at Pakistan Foreign Ministry on Friday in this regard and conveyed the Pakistan authority that he will give feedback after consulting Bangladesh Foreign Ministry, a diplomat said on Monday night.

Speaking to the Indian daily The Hindu on Wednesday, Inu said Balochistan was suffering at the hands of Pakistan's military establishment, which targeted Bengalis in Bangladesh in 1971 and Bangladesh will make a policy declaration on Pakistan's human rights abuses in the Balochistan region soon.

Meanwhile, a Bangladesh delegation left Dhaka for Islamabad on Sunday to attend the SAARC Finance Ministers' Meeting to be held there this week, an official, seeking anonymity, said.

He said State Minister for Finance MA Mannan will join the delegation later.

The Foreign Ministry official said the next round of Foreign Office Consultation will be held in Dhaka on September 1-2 between Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Point One : Ensure the democratic rights of Baluchistan. Being a part of Pakistan for 23 years we know how people feel when they are neglected. I don't have any idea about present condition of Baluchistan though.

Point Two : The Minister who made the remark is practically a nobody. Not even awamileague. He most probably got carried away by Indian Hospitality. Whiskey talk maybe?

Is he a minister and thus representative of your govt/country or not?

well he won't get 500 votes if he takes part in the election independently. He is allied with Hasina. Hasina is allied with 14 others parties as well. They don't have the vote, but name of a political party

Also This one is a hypocrite..When pro Pakistan Coup took place against Mujib He danced on the road. Photographs are available.

Again didn't answer the question.

Is he or isn't he a representative of your country/people?

Simple yes or no.

You think any country cares if a Chinese communist party minister got any votes from the people of his country....that somehow it means he doesnt represent his people when he says something in official capacity?
