because we will be able to save around $6.5 billion yearly and out of IMF.Why can't we get cheaper oil from Russia?
1) What about what the Chinese want? The Chinese do not want Pakistan to default on their debt obligations. This is against the Chinese self interest as well.and yet someone else is speculting that showbazz is not amreeki choice they wanted billio raani to be crowned and made the queen
Such moves are likely to upset Saudi's economic interest. Pakistan cannot completely switch to Russian oil. Only a fraction of the imports can at best be made from Russia to maintain an essential equipoise. The cost of transport from Russia to Pakistan should be accounted for. It is also not prudent to assume that Russia will be offering oil for discount next year and the year after. We cannot predict that with any confidence.
Ok this is going to be market panic reaction
Chinese dont like "khata hey tu lagata be hey" rheotic1) What about what the Chinese want? The Chinese do not want Pakistan to default on their debt obligations. This is against the Chinese self interest as well.
2) Have the Saudi made any specific demands from Pakistan? The Saudi - Pakistan relationship likely has a security dimension to it that is beyond just US or China.

Because we r plugged in USA financial systrmWhy can't we get cheaper oil from Russia?
From a Chinese perspective, I would think that Pakistan is too big to fail. They have sunk a lot of economic and political capital in Pakistan, perhaps more than they have done for any other country. There are core security interests at play. If Saudi plant to switch from US to China, I don't think that necessarily changes the advantage that Pakistan has in the triparty relationship.Chinese dont like "khata hey tu lagata be hey" rheotic
Pakistan is spoiled kid
Sooner or later everyone will bail out
IK was also acting spolied but not increasing oil prices and reducing demand
no infrastructureWhy can't we get cheaper oil from Russia?
it is possible if surrendra teli was to decide to help and supply the pandit clan -- currently in-charge in Pakistan-- refined petroleum productsPakistan cannot completely switch to Russian oil. it is said that china has so much dollars that it does not know what to do with them and also that Amreeka can turn them into toilet paper anytime it chooses.1) What about what the Chinese want? china was asked for backing prior to supreme court doing its magic against PM khan. chinese refused to upset amreeka any more than it already is. however they are committed to staying in Ladakh to prevent any bharati advance towards GB and Azad kashmir.
re: the saudis, I do not have any knowledge

IK has said so many contradictory things & taken so many contradictory actions that one can not hope to keep up with it all. If I ever said anything, it would be for poking a bit of fun - easiest thing to do.Oh I completely agree with the middle portion of your post. I was referring to earlier criticism of you and some of your friends classifying PTIs loans, facilities from SA, Qatar, USE and China as begging etc. And now within a month PMLN is trying to extend the same facilities and loans started by PTI and IK. My point is : its not begging. But probably you have been vocally calling these in PTIs time as begging.
Regarding rhetoric not matching actions - well we all are guilty of it at some level. And political parties have always exaggerated in slogans etc. We have examples of roti kapra makan from PPP, SS ending load shedding in 6 months and dragging AZ in streets etc, and even Obama calling end to Guantanamo bay etc. All of them have made and broken promises.
Elite has the same vote as a poor man. Also, Punjab is not a place where elite can compel poor people to vote a certain way. You need to update your opinions a bit. You sound so much like a caricature when you pontificate on politics & economy & dispense counter-factual & counter-intuitive opinions.Dont insult the chinese
Basically people of punjab elite like PMLN
USA may like them but chinese dont get balckmailed like this
Total BS
TrueNo one wants Pakistan to fail, nor a country like Pakistan can fail.
The powers that wish to control the world, simply don't want Pakistan to grow in power to be a threat to a certain nation that was imported and established in the Middle East.
So anything and anyone who try to take Pakistan forward and into a better future are removed through local facilitators.
