Pakistan says 'thankful' to Saudi Arabia for its continued support

.
“The Saudis have asked for another billion dollars to be sent back,” said the president of a private Pakistani bank. People familiar with the matter in Islamabad said the government had resolved to send General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the army chief, to try to smooth over relations with Riyadh.

Saudi economy is struggling - In 3 years Oil prices in Saudia has jumped from 0.18 to 1.66 per liter - every country is looking out for its own interest except Pakistan -

.
Saudia Arabia always helped us and will do it in future as well.

I see refinery coming and as well as support for kashmir from saudia arabia.

Moreover, investment on agriculture from saudia as well because they can't depend on oil only.

.
In summary...A dog barked at his master, master scolded and snatched the food.....dog realised it's limits and start wagging the tail, licking the feet....

Sounds like what happened to India against China along the LAC recently.

.
As someone said on this thread, good cop & bad cop policy being played by Pakistan. Good going, we've shown KSA that we aren't going to sit quite and play blind and there is no master slave relation going on anymore.

@waz

Yes North Korea has deterrence, have you seen how they live?

I understand many of them actually eat grass.

Regards

Oh what do have here, such a poor attempt at sarcasm. Here, watch and learn now, you'll cease such dim witted posts.

True they may eat grass, and yes Pakistan was willing to as well. But I do believe grass is edible, but not suitable for the human diet.
But I can assure you my friend it's certainly more edible than bricks. Bricks you say, why bricks! Well I'm just referring to that wonderful Ram Mandir you build as we type, having those much needed resources diverted whilst India ranks below Pakistan and indeed all its neighbours when it comes to hunger. Please do read below;

India was ranked 102 in the 2019 Global Hunger Index (GHI), much below its neighbours Pakistan (94), Bangladesh (88), Sri Lanka (66), Nepal (73) and China (25).

The GHI, which was released on Tuesday, noted that “India suffers from a level of hunger that is serious”.
GHI ranks countries based on four key indicators—undernourishment, child mortality, child wasting and child stunting. Child wasting refers to share of children under the age of five who have low weight for their height, reflecting acute undernutrition. “Wasting is most prevalent in Yemen, Djibouti, and India,” according to the GHI.

Now I'll presume the Indian population is willing to eat bricks, as these holy bricks from the mother of all Mandirs will soon solve the problem of scores being hungry in a jiffy.
Don't you Sanghis have a slogan "solving India's problems one brick at a time"?

With the kindest of regards.

This is our Mistake, we should have made our economy strong only then other countries could have risked loosing the Indian market - We are a liability not an alternative -
An OIC conference on the J&K dispute is not going to result in 'loosing the Indian market'.

The Saudis have no excuse here.

Spineless as you see or senseless personal statement if I may call it; the thing is, it made a noise but things are played well behind closed doors.

The Saudis have promised massive investments in India - the Indians have more to lose from pissing off the Saudis than the other way around.

Why should Saudi support Pakistan on Kashmir cause ......Saudi perspective about India

"
India is one of our most important strategic partners and we are working on identifying and prioritizing investment opportunities. India is poised to become a USD 5 trillion economy by 2025 and aspires to become a USD 10 trillion economy by 2030. Saudi Arabia is looking to partner with India in this path of growth wherever is possible.

The agreement of the Strategic Partnership Council (SPC) between the two countries has been signed. Meetings of ministerial committees concerning investment, energy and trade will be convened soon. Investments between the two countries are ongoing. Aramco’s decision to buy stake in Reliance’s oil to chemical (OTC) business is a good signal to the importance we attach to the Indian sector of energy and shows our long term interest and commitment to invest in India. Being termed as one of the largest FDI investments in India, as per the deal, Saudi Aramco will acquire a 20 per cent stake in Reliance's oil-to chemicals (OTC) business at an enterprise value of USD 75 billion. Apart from this, the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia is also looking at investment possibilities. As India is one of the fastest growing economies and also one of the largest, there is ample opportunity for collaboration between our two friendly nations
."

Saudi Arabia is India’s second biggest supplier of oil and kingdom has extended helping hand to India in achieving emergency crude reserves. Could you elaborate on this?

The cooperation that Saudi Arabia and India share in the energy sector is very important. During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s landmark visit to Saudi Arabia in October 2019, a MoU between Saudi Aramco and Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Limited (ISPRL) was signed to build emergency crude reserves against oil price volatility and supply disruptions. In 2020, the Kingdom extended support to India in filling up the emergency crude reserves. We will continue to meet India’s energy needs.

Which is why Pakistan needs to quickly move far away from our current Saudi alignment.
