Lets discuss a scenario here , Incase of a countervalue strike on India e.g DelhiSir, can you please elaborate which Pakistani missiles can target Tamilnadu or West Bengal.
With results I have said 50% otherwise I would have said 70%. With double or triple layer the chances increase dramatically.
You think you will be targetting Rajasthan desert or jungals of Chattisghar. In a war both sides will have predesignated targets from the other side. These high value targets will be certainly protected.
Targeted by multiple Missiles with MIRVs. Chaff and all the countermeasures deployed
Also include the uncertainities like e.g Location of launch is unknown the size of the missile and warheads is unknown and mind you all these uncertainities are not taken under consideration in BMD ''Tests''
please elaborate which BMD can stop that?
I have. Layers are not that relevant here. India should have more combined seekers (for greater target discrimination) and KKVs and also increase the number of interceptors. Not to mention early warningKindly read more about BMDs and their layers of protection.
All that and BMD in general is a costly affair as compared to the countermeasueres which are far more easily developed.
