Pakistan Replaces India, Sri Lanka Military Training Expands

Kindly enlighten your self from none other than an Indian source.

'Pak played key role in Lanka's victory over Tamil Tigers' - Indian Express

Again, you are being daft.
Ofcourse Pakistan played a key role. If it werent for Pakistan, SL probably would be stuck in a deadlock.

The reason Pakistan was able to help SL in defeating LTTE was because India was not backing LTTE, and infact helped SLN remove the LTTE's floating garrisons at sea.

If India had been backing the LTTE, no one would have been able to dent them, let alone beat them.

Good for srilanka...... Indeed lot to learn in Pakistan.... Especially now!!!!!!!!!!!

. . . .
It's the wish of 7.5crore Tamil Population in the southern India. It's better to loose an allay, rather than carving the land mass in India from the south. Politicians in Tamil Nadu can't do anything except mounting pressure on the center, because it's the demand of the whole Tamil Nadu(7.5 crore people).

Considering the past experience, i doubt India was in any position to help out the LTTE.

When the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) tried to disarm all the various military groups as a prelude to peace, it soon got dragged into a battle with the LTTE. The Indian Army found out to its cost – around 1200 lives during 1987-1990 – just how vicious the war was. In one battle, the heads of Indian soldiers were severed and stuck on poles along the road to Jaffna. it is generally agreed that Operation Pawana was ill-conceived and that the Indian Army was ill-prepared for such a conflict and it became India’s own ‘Vietnam’.

Precisely the point.
India was not helping the LTTE. India was also against the LTTE.

So it silently aided the GoSL.

Had that not been the case, no one would have been able to even put a scratch on them.

Winddy good cherry picking by you there are also 10000 LTTE guys killed by the indian army

The IPKF suffered around 1,200 killed in action and several thousand wounded. The LTTE casualties are not known reliably but it is assumed that approximately 8000-11000 were killed and several thousand were injured
