Trump is already picking fights with North Korea and Iran and escalating tensions in the Middle East (with the Jerusalem as Israel's capital ruckus). While it is true that US military and economic capabilities allow for her to address multiple threats simultaneously, prioritization will still take place and Pakistan may well feel comfortable enough in calling the US's bluff here, while both States continue limited cooperation where their interests align.
