Like I said in the other thread, it is impossible to grab 100+ nukes at the same time.

In the very best case scenario for America, they might be able to get 30-50 of them.

But there would still be 50-70 left, which have a very high probability of being used in this scenario, due to the fact that nukes are "use it or lose it" weapons.

So the idea that anyone could rob Pakistan of their nukes is ridiculous. If anyone even tried, the only result would be a nuclear nightmare.

Let them be so optimistic and try to get them. We will let this Nuclear nightmare to happen for them cuz we won't have blame on us then ....

The security of Pakistan's nuclear weapons is excellent. No doubt about it. No casual outfit, or even a trained mercenary force can hope to gain access to one, or realistically neutralize all of them. Not a chance.

The only danger - an even that is unrealistic - is that of the whole chain of command heading off into the 'wrong" direction due to "whatever" reason. And that is not likely at all for the foreseeable future either.

I, for one, will sleep easy tonight, at least in this regard. I would suggest we all be able to do the same.

Taliban fighters have a “permanent presence” in almost three quarters of Afghanistan and are tightening a noose around the capital, Kabul, according to a Paris-based research organization.

The International Council on Security and Development, which has fulltime offices in Afghanistan, said in a report that Taliban fighters have advanced out of their bases in the south and east and are infiltrating Kabul at will.

“The Taliban are now dictating terms in Afghanistan, both politically and militarily,” Paul Burton, ICOS Director of Policy, said. “There is a real danger the Taliban will simply overrun Afghanistan.”

“While the international community’s prospects in Afghanistan have never been bleaker, the Taliban has been experiencing a renaissance that has gained momentum since 2005,” ICOS said. The presence of the Islamist group in Afghanistan has increased from 54 to 72 percent over the past year, according to the report.
