Pakistan rejected in Amazon, ebay & paypal? whither eCommerce?

There are multiple things for an ecommerce system to work.

a. Logistics
b. Customer Service
c. Ease of transaction

To start of with, launch with credit card or online transfers. Why? This will give you time to fine tune the logistics part. Let me tell you from experience, that, Supply chain is everything. Things like fill-in rates, packing time, warehouse pilferage reduction, returns management are key. CoD in the start will make the business nonviable, because of the cost of returns and the stocking up of products.

You have to have an effective postal service for E-com to be successful. I don't think pakistan has a developed one.

We have multiple postal services. Online commerce has only recently gained traction, it will be a booming industry in the coming years.

Coming on to topic, Paypal has been restricted due to SBP's decison. As for Amazon and ebay, i'm sure they'll jump in when they see the time is right.

The trouble with the Pakistani market is lack of trust and efficacy of online stores. Once there's a big name in the eCommerce scene, people will be more willing to purchase online.
