Pakistan Rangers torture Man to death.

You also talk crap abt the courts when they free these turds... n now this...
g...

The man was brought to the police station with severe injuries, injuries, I hope he incurred resisting arrest - So in your opinion was it useful or helpful to bring him to the station??

. .
Alright, the point being???

He was involved in an terrorist attack that killed paramilitary soldiers. If people like him aren't interrogated, then how else are we supposed to know about their hideouts, future plans, strengths, operations, tactics? How do you think the warehouse was busted in Peshawar, storing FIFTY TONNES of explosive materials?

Before judging the Rangers, visit Guantanamo Bay.

such a kiddish comment?

in pakistan the law of the land should follow

if these guys were in US they would have recieved life sentences for extra judicial killings

im not defending the accused guy he may well be the terrorist but thats for the courts to decide

pakistan should be given to military guys like rangers, police should be well equipped to control the civilians and not army personnels like rangers

rangers should be sent to the border ASAP

Who knows maybe he did resist arrest... maybe he even fired at the rangers?

. . .
Saying that is fine, until this happens to one of your friends or family. Then we will see what your thoughts are, Sir.

That is if one of your friends or family goes by "Billa" and has an alias and resists arrests or is involved with activities against LEA, right?

. . . . .
This previous incident where a man returning from dialysis was shot dead by Rangers:

http://www.defence.pk/forums/social...6475-rangers-karachi-murder-innocent-man.html

Is that a fair reference? Are rangers expected to read peoples minds? In a environment of terror, rangers directed the individual to stop, a lawful directive which citizens are bound to obey, the individual choose to ignore the directive - now did the Rangers know if he was choosing to disregard a lawful directive because he was a terrorist or the vehicle was a bomb or what?

It was a tragedy, but one that would not have happened if the driver had chosen to comply --- ALL CITIZENS MUST COMPLY WITH LEA Directives - I don't know how we can justify getting past this.

The real point here is the steady stream of deaths of civilians at the hands of Rangers, all causes included. As number mount, so does anger, and that cannot be good for law and order in the long run. That is why I highlight these cases so that the public can be assured and every incident is properly investigated and the guilty party ascertained, and punished, whether it is the dead civilian, or whether those who caused the death.

I do think that this is not the case with Rangers all over the country -it is predominantly in KHI, where thumbing ones none at authority is a given

There are proper ways to thumb one's nose at authority, but evading a roadblock manned by armed uniformed personnel is surely not one of them.

I agree with you that this Ranger issue is predominantly in Karachi, and is just another aspect of the horrific, total and ongoing mismanagement of the commercial capital of the country.

Who can improve this situation before it blows up in our faces?
