On topic there must be some tangible or intangible beneifit for which Pak went for USA without ordering from China...

Actually he is right buddy, but then you will require spares and Indian engineers or training from them, which will mean dependence on India especially in conflict time where these trains will be highly useful and an important part of logistics.
