Your railway lines cant handle new Indian brands thats why i suggeted this......
Read post 37,48(Indian brands which are costly).......
there was a deal going on which was later cancelled
it said 10 billion for 100 locomotives
the locomotives were supposed to be brand new and would have been manufactured by BHEL(India)
You are not getting what i am trying to say.....Oh yar,
Our railway lines CAN handle vegetarian engines just like non-veg.
Refurb are no go
We too refurb engines. Not a big deal.
One of my elders retried as Railway engineer. I used to tour the Pakistani railway workshops and I know a thing or two about refurb stuff.

10 billion dollars or Indian rupees?
Also why was it cancelled?
That needs skilled engineers and investment.....High time pak rail starts building it's own locomotives.
Yeah. Imagine the number of jobs it will create. It is a sustainable solution for the long term. I don't think these foreign locomotives are designed for hot and dusty conditions prevalent in our region. That needs skilled engineers and investment.....
You didnt get my point......Yeah. Imagine the number of jobs it will create. It is a sustainable solution for the long term. I don't think these foreign locomotives are designed for hot and dusty conditions prevalent in our region.

Indian company makes its own iphones......Tomorrow you will suggest that Pakistan and India should start building their own IPhones too.
hahahaha
Because Apple doesn't know how to make Iphones for hot and dusty environments.
See the fallacy of your argument?
Railway Engines are very high tech piece of machinery.
Very few countries truly can make a locomotive.
The rest assemble kits.
Peace
Indian company makes its own iphones......
And we make our Railway engines also.....
