What's new

Pakistan purchased BMC Kirpi MRAP

We produce them in Pakistan. We have lot several soldiers due to Toyota Hilux we need these MRAP
Hazrat @Zarvan this deal has taken 4 years. :undecided::undecided: interest in Kipri goes as far back as 2012 so we may need to be patient in Rifle trials as well :(:(

Rifle trials won't take long. That I am sure about in next few months you would hear the announcement but yes starting production in Pakistan will take time.

Licence production would be fantastic option

We just created the Hamza APC , which serves our immediate need but this might be great Option to Have

According to BMC:

According to BMC, it has saved 3-5K casualties so far given the extreme intensity of the proxy war supported by the entire Western world. Even if 00-400Kg of explosives are detonated and it flings up by 7m, troops inside remain in Selamet by HIS GRACE...
Wooow amazing thing

Should have bought it instead of max pros ..

Max Pros are too heavy and not much useful in our terrain.... They get stuck in sand hence have limited off road mobility !

Hopefully Kipri is better... Also Hamza is an MRAV ..

Heard it too .. The previous mousy MRAV built by them wasn't wm accepted by the army..
Roger. If not by army i think Paramilitary will accept them open heartedly.

Dear do you really think like other people here that we may suffice our military transportation needs by getting different types of MRAPS. I really doubt that due to cost and fuel constraints along with terrain limitations. We still need those toyota Hilux and trucks we like it or not. If sanity prevails we should go for certain modifications on our exiting military vehicle fleet i.e welding armour plates on the floor meanwhile light Armour materials should be welded all around these vehicles I can bet that even these vehicles still save many lives in general movement as our military in populated areas usually facing sniper/ ambush attacks meanwhile IEDS are mostly used in direct engagement areas.

In the past I have read about tactics of Indian law enforcement agencies against Khalistan movement, there they even used tractors after welding armored plates on them.
