Before clicking on this thread I already knew it would be about the Qadianis. I am not sure whether I agree with the decision (if the report is even true) but I think that the Qadianis will just present this as another justification to enter the UK as refugees.

Even if it was true and based on the rule of religion then whats the problem in it? . BTW Rabwah is the same newspaper which started spreading hoax of Gen Qamar bajwa being ahmadi...rabwah has a history of lies and 99% news r hoax....rabwah is name of town where qadianism took rise and ghulam ahmed qadiani was born....but yes , in pakistan if you here that tax is being applied on religious ruling then dont believe it...they use the name of religion for their own interests

Pakistan has announced plans to increase Taxes for a non-Muslim majority town. The tax increase will impact residential homes and businesses.

The Town of Rabwah’s Municipal Committee announced the proposed tax increase through a public notice which was published in a local newspaper on April 29th. The proposed new rates amount to an estimated 100% increase.

Majority of the town’s residents are of Ahmadiyya faith, a sect which considers itself Muslim but has been declared non-Muslim under Pakistani law. Meanwhile, the City’s Municipal Committee is also entirely made up of Muslim officials, none of the city’s Ahmadi residents serve on the city council.

According to the Municipality, the increased taxes will be used to develop the infrastructure of the city, However, historically the Ahmadis have been denied basic services such as water, power and garbage disposal by the local Government. The local MPA (Member Provincial Assembly) Ilyas Chinioti even urged the Government to stop the development of basic infrastructure and services in the town as the Ahmadis “will use it to conspire against the country”.

• Sales Tax
• Rental Car return Tax
• Number plate Tax
• Parking Fee & Tax
• Fuel Tax
• Income Tax (yeah .... that one as well)
• Different Property Tax (differs by region)
• Licence renewal Tax
• Insurance Policy (Not tax but you can't drive with out it double for motor bikes)

It's part of life ... nothing unusual Tax away baby


Pakistani don't know how good they have it right now, when they start to pay taxes like rest of the world then they will appreciate what they had

Non-Muslim men were bound by the Jizya and only those that decided against military service or weren't able to pay. This tax was on and off throughout Islamic Empires and widely shunned now.

The entire reason behind the indirect taxes on 100 rupee cell cards, this tax that tax is to recoup the losses from noone filing taxes.

Notice in Local Paper: Public notice was published in a local news paper (obviously related to local [or read Municipality] matter) on April 29th as per this news; Municipal committee can impose number of local taxes/fee such as water & sewerage, solid waste management etc. etc. which can vary form few hundred Rs. per annum to just few thousand Rs. per annum .... ???

& as per attached screenshot one can observed taxes & fee are as low as Rs.10 and non of tax is discriminating on religious ground as the objects & business such as signboards, transportation, pain shops or Restaurants & mirage halls don't have any RELIGION at least in Pakistan

Now can you people observe the twist & propaganda on religious grounds .... & and deliberate effort to malign Pakistan ???

Local committee imposed a tax while others take it as Government and Religious bashing opportunity. The news has nothing to do with Government or Religion at all but seems like making it public through news due to differences among committee members.
