That depends. Govt has plans to move out of LDC by 2024. Before that they want to complete some projects which would require huge amount of loans. Being in LDC allows you to get loans at a very small interest.


It will work out. CPEC will give you a massive boost too. You just need to make sure things at your home stays in control. Try to reduce corruption and terrorism at your home. Other things will work out fine.

I beg to differ. Economy of Bangladesh have been quite stable in last 15 years. We averaged 6.5% yearly growth rate last decade. Lately it has risen to 7%. It is expected that growth rate will rise to 8-9% after some projects are completed.

Well terrorism should not exist anywhere. But this is no utopia. It exists and needs to be dealt wiith

Very unlikely, there is a very large gap and it is very likely for Pakistan's growth rate to catch up to or even surpass that of Bangladesh's.

Economic growth rates are just accounting numbers TBH.

Did this growth rate result in our exports rising? No
Millions of poor and hungry having a better life? No
Better health and education facilities provided? No
Better police and justice system provided? No
Better security situation and reduced threat to life and limb? No


The fact of the matter is growth rate only benefits the top 10% of the people in a country like Pakistan, more so when all your top government officials are billionaires through ill-gotten wealth.

and since when are the gulf countries even growing? they already reached their max growth ...
