Pakistan police suspended after parading naked couple

And that gives Police the Right to make her parade around Naked are you serious or have completely lost your marbles on Top you are Trying to justify the Crime.

I just made a guess. Nobody hates the police more than me in Pakistan.

You hate the police but in this case you are justifying their actions cause it was some one else and not you who was facing the music.

.
Not sure whats more disgusting Police officer abusing his powers or you sinking even lower to make it Islamic.

I'm analyzing the situation from what I have seen on a daily basis in Pakistan and your rear end is burning for no reason. Go and take seat into a bucket of water and stop making assumptions.

When did I justify them? Where does it say that?

The fact that it is Ramzaan may have also lead them to overreact.

Stop making excuse for these f*lthy animals wearing uniforms. Are you suggesting that Ramazan brings out the evil in people? If so the world might advise us to reconsider the entire concept of Ramadhan.

I don't frankly care what the women was, had done or what she was about to do. A Police officer is a public servant who is there to enforce the law. He/she is enforcer of the law, the legislature the maker of the law and the courts the interpreter of the law.

I am pleased to see here that the Indian's are accepting that this is a South Asian problem which indeed it is. I think the police reflects the society it operates in and by that measure we in Pakistan or India should be ashamed.

I have had some experiances with British Police and on the whole their behaviour has been nothing less than perfect. Now that Pakistan and India are nuclear powers I would like to see our respective police forces to be reformed. It can't be impossible.

A poster here mentioned Islamabad Police - I can also confirm their general standard is higher than most forces in Pakistan. I also think AK Police is somewhat better. I can't imagine this incident happening in Muzzafarabad.

For variety of reasons Southern Punjab and Sindh are notoriously prone to such incidents. Perhaps the feudal culture that is sop entanched within those regions has something to do with this.

Thing is we are trying to develop in many fronts but failing to get rid of these evils in our society. Every now and then, such actions emerges in local news in India especially the victims are dalits. These so called upper castes are untouched by police and they do these deeds freely. Hardly anyone gets punished.

So the conclusion of your analysis is i am the problem in all this and you can say that cause of your daily experience.

suspension is mild punishment . they should have been made naked and should have given the whip to the couple tom move them around in whole city while couple whipping them.

So according to u , eyes for eye punishment should be applied here not the path of juricdiction ,
and it don't mean i'm not condemning their act

.
The woman was probably a known prostitute, and the guy a consistent customer.
So how does that give the police right to make the couple run all over the city , naked .
Prostitues are also humans man

.
It seems that everyone here either has comprehension issues or is overly emotional. Even according to Islamic law this punishment is not acceptable, so how can the fools here accuse me of justifying this act?

I could not agree more strongly with the views expressed. A significant proportion of Indian law and order problems can be addressed only by implementation of the Dharma Vir Commission Report. All concerned, centre as well as states, have neglected the problem shamefully.

She is advocating deterrent punishment for a crime against women.

Don't look now, but the entire silly world is out of step with you.

Does the Pakistan (or India, for that matter) Penal Code require a warrant to break into a private residence? Without such a legal instrument covering their actions, what is the difference between these "policemen" and criminals?
