Stalls of All Defence Production Establishments at Defence Services Asia Exhibition (DSA) 2016, Malaysia Are Quite Successful


Kuala Lampur–20 April, 2016

Minister for Defence Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain metZulkifeli bin Mohd, Chief of Malaysian Armed Forcesat Defence Services Asia Exhibition (DSA) 2016 in Malaysia. Pakistan and Malaysia have agreed to further strengthen their defence and strategic relationship. Pak–Malaysian Defence Cooperation dates back to early 1959, when Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) personnel started receiving military training in institutions in Pakistan. There is a MoU on defence cooperation between two countries which was signed in August 1997.

“Defence relations between Malaysia and Pakistan have been very encouraging in recent years and both countries are committed to further strengthening the cooperation in the future”, said Rana Tanveer Hussain.

He also visited stalls of Serbia and Azerbaijan. Stalls of various different Defence Production Establishments are quite successful during DSA 2016. Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) Wah Cantt,Heavy Industry Taxila (HIT) ,Taxila Cantt, Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra , National Radio Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC)and Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO),Islamabad are part of Pakistan pavilion. Other private companies from Pakistan include Embroidery Export Corp, J. Arthur Sialkot, Kestral, and Metasco International.

Nops, its one of the Mobile Pulse Doppler Radars which PAF acquired for low level detection. Its one from the Siemens i think.

PAC overhauls / refurbishes them and not make them. That is why its showed at defence exhibitions that PAC can overhaul such radars plus the TPS 43 radars too.
