If its purely a OPV , then it will be a derivative of this one.

If its a corvette then it will be a derivative of Holland Class OPV.

That's what threw me off. You could theoretically argue a remote weapon-station gun can be "anti-air armament" (which would fit with the Damen OPV 1800), but if it's a SAM system, then I'd look at the SIGMA.

its not this one, my reason for saying this is because the article mention that the ship will be used for Anti surface and Anti Air operations , but this Sea Axe shows no signs on any Anti Air System on-board ,and the OP suggest the Ship has 22knots speed but the sea axe has 26knots @Quwa @Penguin did i miss anything in sea Axe, its weird that from the looks it has no SAM or anti Air launch systems ?

I just looked at the length and displacement. To be honest, at 90 m and 1,900 tons, it doesn't 100% match any of the ships on Damen's product listing. But yes, the part about it being capable of anti-surface and anti-air ops, ISR, etc, might suggest it is a SIGMA-type. We'll need to wait and see though.

I think they will help us design a new ship or based on there existing ships but it would be for Pakistan Navy not MSA.

I love JF 17 developing gradually but want to see some surprise purchase too to encounter 4.5/ 5 generation.
