What is the problem if someone propagate his religion ?

According to Indian Constitution, under article 25, one has right of profess, practice and propagate his religion.

Only forced conversions are illegal in India.

According to Indian Laws, Shehzad is well with in the his legal right to propagate his religion.:coffee:

I dont think even you could be delusional enough to believe that all conversions to Islam were self motivated. Even today the newspapers in Pakistan are full of news of forced conversions etc. My question is about those people and their subsequent generations. Are these haram muslims ?

Haram implies untrue/impure/incorrect. The result of Haram can never be halal. Correct? So by that definition all Muslims converted by haram means, including wars, forced conversions etc should in turn be untrue/impure by definition. In law its called the concept of "fruit of the poisonous tree"

A Muslim is a Muslim is a Muslim. It is preposterous to suggest class/cast among Muslims. Even original Muslims were Christians, Jews or pagans.

Yes. But something created by Haram means can surely not be halal. Remember.. the fruit of the poisonous tree..........

Don't expect them to follow their own logic and doctrine..or else you will get a lecture and a thrashing about the true meaning of Islam.

Haram means forbidden. It means something that you are not allowed to do. Not impure/untrue/incorrect. What do you mean by "Haram Muslims???" How can a human being be "Haram"? Your definition of Haram is wrong, please look it up.

haram
hɑːˈrɑːm/
adjective
  1. forbidden or proscribed by Islamic law.

You are basically trying to say that if Muslims were converted through Haram means, they are not Muslims. That is incorrect. If they believe in Islam and consider themselves Muslim, they are Muslims, doesn't matter who converted them or how. If they don't consider themselves Muslim, they are not Muslim. Its as simple as that.

Using certain methods to convert people is Haram, that doesn't make the people who have been converted Haram. People are not objects. they themselves can decide whether to convert or not.

"forced conversion" doesn't exist. Sure, you can force someone to act like Muslims but you can't force them to believe in Islam or consider themselves Muslim.
As for their subsequent generations, if they taught their children to be Muslims, those children are Muslims if they consider themselves Muslims and believe in Islam. Simple and straightforward.

Stop trying to mix and twist things to make Muslims look bad, there are already enough people doing that.

Whats the point of discussion when dilshan himself said that he has no issue with all this?

Tillakaratne Dilshan and Sri Lanka Cricket are unconcerned about religion-focused comments Ahmed Shehzadhad supposedly made to Dilshan following the third ODI, although the PCB have issued Shehzad an official reprimand.

Footage of the teams exiting the field after Sri Lanka's series win supposedly shows Shehzad telling Dilshan about converting to Islam. Dilshan's reply is inaudible, but Shehzad again allegedly delivers another religious comment before the two part ways and head toward their dressing rooms.

Dilshan said he thought little of the exchange at the time, and will not consider lodging a complaint. "I don't remember even what I said to him," Dilshan said. "I have no issues at all. I was just quite happy with the win at the time." SLC is similarly unfazed, team manager Michael de Zoysa said, and will consider the matter closed.

The PCB were made aware of the exchange after a journalist brought it to their notice, when the footage went viral in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. When the board summoned Shehzad for an explanation on Wednesday, he had said he came to know of Dilshan's religious background during the match, and simply sought a light-hearted discussion. Shehzad said the video only showed part of their exchange, and that he had not wished to offend Dilshan.

Nevertheless, the PCB had set up an inquiry under director of international cricket Zakir Khan. As there have been no complaints, the board did not find a contract or code of ethics breach in Shehzad's behaviour, but warned the batsman not to engage in religious exchanges in future.

Born to a Muslim father and a Buddhist mother, Dilshan had been a Muslim and played under his birth-name of Tuwan Mohammad Dilshan at the start of his international career. He has since converted to Buddhism and changed his name.
