No, report work better as then all MOD get a notification and anyone who is available will sort it out. If you tag a mod he will only get the notification once he is online. Might delay the action.
As for reports, please understand that on average there are around 70 posts reported daily. We try to clear them all in 24 to 36 hours max (as none of us in online all the time).
Reporting is the better option.
Warnings are not issued for such posts but we have to delete them. You can understand that if you think about it. There is a post with filthy language and abusive words that you want to be removed a served a warning, now if you are quoting that post, the same abusive words and filthy language will remain part of the forum unless your post is ALSO deleted. That is why i request that if you need to quote such a post to tag a mod, please at least edit that post as below:
This way we can get to that post, sort that out and we are all good. Also it decreases our work load as now we have to deal with one post rather than two. I think being members of the forum, you will also want to HELP US improve the forum.
By the way, just to update you two, there is not a single post reported (by using that report button as we request and suggest) by
@Pakhtoon yum and there were three posts reported by
@undercover JIX all of which have been cleared.
