It was bit surprising that within days of Pakistan telling the Indians to move their military assets back to peace time location as a pre condition of opening airspace, the Indian establishment complied like pet dogs. I was expecting some backbone shown by Indian establishment.

They had no choice, air India was bleeding to death and India NEEDED pakistan to open it's air.

Keep in mind that air India is a national airline so loses by it have to be paid by the government, as they have done previously.

So like a dog with it's tail tucked between it's leg, India had to comply with Pakistani demands.

No, report work better as then all MOD get a notification and anyone who is available will sort it out. If you tag a mod he will only get the notification once he is online. Might delay the action.

As for reports, please understand that on average there are around 70 posts reported daily. We try to clear them all in 24 to 36 hours max (as none of us in online all the time).

Reporting is the better option.

Warnings are not issued for such posts but we have to delete them. You can understand that if you think about it. There is a post with filthy language and abusive words that you want to be removed a served a warning, now if you are quoting that post, the same abusive words and filthy language will remain part of the forum unless your post is ALSO deleted. That is why i request that if you need to quote such a post to tag a mod, please at least edit that post as below:

I am sorry if that happened. We try to respond as quickly as possible but please note that not all of us are here all the time. Plus it takes at least an hour to clear 25-30 reports. Daily 70-80 reports come in. sometimes much more. Its a lot of work sir and that for people who all have job and other life commitments. So i am sorry if we take a few hours at times but you can help us improve the things. Do not quote such posts without editing, do not use insulting abusive words, report such posts. These small things will help moderators improve the situation.

If you want to discuss it further please open a thread in "Suggestions and Discussions" section. I will be glad to explain it further. We will like nothing more than having some support and faith of the fellow members.

My understanding is/was that, at any given time at least one MOD must be online/available to keep things in order, as this a 24/7 forum and infestation of undesired is a very common, given the topics we discuss and post here.

Unfortunately bro, this is not possible. It might be an ideal situation but since all are volunteers here picked by administration, this is not a job for anyone of us. Every Mod have his/her own full time job plus other commitments. Even when we come on the forum, moderation is part of what are come to do here (as we too want to use the forum as regular members though we rarely get a chance these days). So what we try to do is that when anyone of us comes, he will go to report sections and clear a few reports. The next MOD will do the same. The idea is that every report is cleared in 24 to 36 hours max. Sometimes it take a few extra hours but not a single one is IGNORED.

For example, currently i have 37 pending reports appearing on my age and the oldest one was reported yesterday noon.

I understand the work load etc., I was just expecting/hoping one MOD online at any given time.

Unfortunately, its not possible.

I do not complain my dear respected brother, just pointing out things which might help to rectify or improve, if Management sees it as valid points.

Personally, i will ALWAYS appreciate this bro.

Its not. Try reporting - Again. Report and give us sometime to sort it out.

Personally, i will be away for the next few days but will strongly suggest you start reporting rather than QUOTING. That only increases out work load and that will only make the situation worse.

Unfortunately, there is no satellite evidence to support the claim that India withdrew any fighter jets. Of course, the mods still changed the title of the thread anyway. In fact. there is eveidence that India actually INCREASED deployment at forward airbases.

Not to mention, how would Pakistan be able to verify any movement of Indian jets in only a few days? Also, most of India's airbases are within proximity to the Pakistani border anyway.

And no, this should not be a major victory for India. However, Pakistan tried to use its airspace as a leverage over India to make it accept unreasonable demands. Well it turns out that relative to its economy, Pakistan actually suffered greater economic losses, while India barely suffered a dent. And of course, Pakistan faced pressure from all over the world, as international airline companies were losing money as well. So Pakistan complied to India's demands to open its airspace like a dog with its tail tucked between its legs. Now Pakistanis are making up fake news without any supporting evidence to make them feel better about losing to India in the diplomatic and economic fronts.
