Pakistan one of the least racist countries? Tell that to the Pakhtuns

Come on, everyone here can tell what you really meant by "black faced". Denial wouldn't change the fact that your intention was racist, when you wrote such a word.
Correct. All of us routinely call them as 'corrupt Police', or 'haramkhour Police' but nobody writes 'BLACK FACED PUNJABI HARAMKHOR POLICE'. Obviously 100% personnel in Punjab Police are NOT Punjabi so the statement was made specifically towards Punjabi speaking Policemen and they were racially target by calling 'black faced'. I don't think it needs PhD -worth of work to decipher what the poster was saying. It was racial slur and there is absolutely no doubt about that.

Rest is basically عزر گناہ بدتر از گناہ

PS: And I'm not judging. I am no one to judge. Colour based bigotry is very casual in Pakistan. Tell the ordinary person from my village what he thinks about christians of Punjab(isaayi), and they'd use similar words very casually, calling them "kaalay chuhray".

 if your not judging then why you claim everyone knows what i meant? anyway whatever i say i say it straightforwardly without mincing my words so if you think it was about skin tone then be it that way after all one can not turn a black into fairy snow white.

if people of Punjab as you yourself said discriminate fellows on the basis of skin tone then why someone here should be offended if the same yardstick is used against them.

You can twist around things i dont have an issue. My statement was clearly about black faced corrupt haramkhor Punjabi police at ATTOCK. so go back read again and if still feeling heat then continue with your ranting .

Why scarf as fashion? is our culture so poor and deprived of variety that it could not support emerging trends? Variations and dupatta and chadar were not possible? I am sorry but if you are implying that our society has not radicalized in all these years (post-1979), you are perhaps making a mistake.

It appears PDF is free for all nowadays.
This is accepted on PDF is it?

I think @Spring Onion is saying that faces of Punjab police are blackened with sins. Symbolically people faces are blackened with coal or tar to condemn or humiliate them e.g those of shive sena were blackening faces of those who were celebrating valentine. In Pashto we say "makh dey tor sha" (tera mun kala ho jaye), its not about complexion but the blackening of face which is mentioned in hadith about sinners of hell. Also if a lighter skinned doesnt take offense in being called 'gora chita', , darkies also shouldnt make noises of racism. In this very forum, some pakistani members have exhibited reverse racism about skin colour and eyes of pakhtuns , that some of us have light features because we were raped by Russians, the ones from your community are more aggressive in racism or reverse racism and ethnic hatred against us. Kindly dont spread hate and malice against us.

I am not surprised that you two , both kinsmen of each other in blood and ideology, are twisting her words. If you are a pakhtun and you condemn MQM, you are "afghani" in the eyes of MQM supporters and they attack you and at the same time cry victim of racism and what not.

I shared this blog out of interest,it is authored by a Blogger from Pindi, doctor by profe. Truth of told i agree with only some points of the blog post, but i have tyo applaud him. My personal views on this matter are different. Before posting this thread, i posted a following post in another thread,

You do not accept hospitality and hugs from security apparatus, they have to do their job. 90% of Taliban are Pakhtuns, you expect to be viewed suspiciously by police and agencies if you are in Punjab. If 90% of terrorist were punjabis, our Pakhtun police would have been doing the same to them. As majority of terrorists are pakhtuns, so lets be not noisy and whiny about the "consequences" on our qaum, lets bear it and allow the security deapartment to do their job. Lets not forget that the same government and army is also targeting killers of pakhtuns in karachi i.e MQM.

Mal-treatment of Afghan refugees is happening through out Pakistan, not just Punjab. In fact Pakhtunkhwa is ahead of every one in giving bad treatment to Afghan refugees. The people of KPK use derogatory words for Afghan refugees, and make fun of their refugee status so in my opinion its unfair to single out Punjab. The Peshawaris will be very happy if Afghan refugees, who owns 10,000 shops in the city, are expelled.

Punjab police is dic-k to every one, like i said why expecting hospitality and hugs from them on provincial border?. Beside ethnic stereotyping about us (which originated in ganga valley), pakhtuns do no feel hate and hostility/enmity from punjabi awaam like they experience in Karachi. We are roaming around in Punjab as if it is our baap ki zameen. That Mohamand businessman whining in interview wont allow any outsider to do business let alone buying land in his Mohmand agency. How many Pakhtuns are cut into pieces and packed in boris in Punjab? How many punjabis are involved in smashing heads of Pakhtuns with 'hathora'? How many punjabis are involved in hate crimes like opening fires on random corn vendor or kabuli hotel wala while riding on bikes? How many punabis burn the buses of pakhtuns?.....

 well that is occasional spur. we people of Peshawar both Pukhtuns and Hindkowans may call you names like punjabyan only during exchange of hot words and personal fights; we even call Afghan Pashtuns as kabalyan or kabuljak in the same way so it has nothing to do with ethnicity but anger during any normal fight between people.

Madam ji, I am strictly into Pakistani only thing, this thread had some flaws which attracted me and got me abused by one of the aggressive Pathan here. I respect Pukhtoon values some of those you won't find anywhere but at the same time they are racist. You may not notice as you speak Pushto (may be), but it is strictly against the manners and a bit racist when they start their own Takha takha in a company where all are not Pushto speakers. And calling me Punjabi is  because I am not one, if I were I would not mind.

BTW we do not use word dhoti so you are either mistaken

:o: when did I say anything about dhotis?

I am from Abbottabad hazara, studied from APS. And know very well what I am talking about. Though I have quite a Pathan company like chaddi friends because we lived our 6 years together in APS.

Then tell me what happened with straight firing at people in Abbottabad when they were protesting against change of name of NWFP and demanded their own province?
i protested too against the name change but as i said problem in cities like peshawar is non existing. howver cities like mardan and charsadda and other areas have this problem. I studied in islamia college, University public school and rarely saw this problem .

The few punjabis who discrminate on basis of skin color are not endorsed by us. We paharis do not even call our mussalis black faced right infront of them as we consider it cheap. You on the other hand called punjabis as black faced right infront of us because you think that may be you are superior to us on the basis of your fair skin. I think you havent been to Muree, Pindi or Islamabad and never seen Punjabis who are as fair skinned as pathans.

I have noticed the same in NWFP (now KPK) for I used to go up North for hiking and trekking every year. There indeed was (perhaps still is) resentment among the locals for Punjabis, it is unfortunate but true.
yup it exists in periphery but not major cities as population to mixed up in peshawar. we have pushto, hindko and chitrali each being very common

Okay may be I had little bad experience then. And good to see some Hazaray Wall on this forum now we can be racist against rest of Pakistan :D

the Punjabis and hazarawals do that more than Pashtuns. rather if you noticed that mostly Punjabis speak Punjabi even on duty in offices without regarding any respect for others. The pukhtuns earlier used to stick to Urdu only and used to shy away from speaking in Pashto if there were people from other linguistic groups. So if they started speaking in own language then i must say bravo why one should one be ashamed of speaking in own language

"One is MQM supporter while the other is qadyani..." - Is this acceptable way of addressing other posters?

@WebMaster @Oscar @Horus @Jango @Emmie

Yes when you call me traitor and resort to personal attacks then yes what is wrong when I am speaking the truth?

You had been abusing others in support of MQM and Exile Pakistani is known qadyani on this forum so what is wrong in addressing one by his or her faith?

hazara has seen worse being in KPK, although tarbela was built on my grandfather lands the money goes to pushtoons. same is true for ghazi brotha but this time to the punjabis and the very same for khanpur dam but this time to capital. meanwhile people in khari plan hazara having scarified for three hydro projects have no drinking water or water for agriculture

tarbela dam agrigates via hydro pump lands of swabi on itsright bank but ignores the haripur district on its left even though majority of people displaced were from haripur district. ANP through his excellent diplomacy was able to sign up royalty for swabi just on basis that the power house is there even though 99% of effected land and people were form hazara!! the very reason we can built any other dam

the same is true for khoistan and chitral, ignored and least developed..its same how lower punjab is ignored..solution more provinces
