we were never on par with them, they were always tech powerhouse from 30's till now.. while Pakistan when got independence was a most backward part of south asia.. we got adivasis on one side, and illiterate on other side of country.. with no industrial base... same with India.. although we spend 6 out of 7 decades better then India on per capita income..

On Topic, Indian investment on Irani port is just to bring down Gwadar, shows how scared they are from Pakistani port. Pakistan has not to worried. Gwadar is to link China and only China. May be others in future but right now, both are not in competition. Overall indian investment on chandar Bhaaag, is good for Pakistan, since India is looking at Afghan and central Asia market which can go inaccessible anytime soon due to uncertain situation in Afghanistan and Armania/azarbaijan situations. ? PPP determines the standard of living in a country. Unlike GDP it doesn't affect local products . GDP nominal artificially manipulated by the government & other factors, that should be obvious our PPP is 4x larger than nominal GDP.

in the past 4 years India overtook Russia ,Italy, Brazil in to top 10. we are estimated to be the 4th largest economy within 2019.this decade is India's success story .

while Pakistan is stuck in the bottom 40 with 1.5x more birth rate. Apart from Bihar & UP all indian states have birth rate within 1-2 .

As far size of the economy is concerned, Pakistan was never ahead of India and never will be.
In GDP growth rate, Pakistan was ahead of Indian until the 90s, when India economy was liberalized.

Since then economic growth rates has been mostly been ahead of Pakistan and last one decade, has really left Pakistan behind.

No one wants to make an enemy without any reason.
It's just that neighbors have maximum chances of clash of interests. Like India - pak, China-India, Pakistan - Afghanistan, China - Japan

Clashes happen even in a househood. If you prolong issues with your neighbour you are biggest loser. You must solve these issues on emergency basis, if you have to do give and take you create harmony with them.

I recommend GoP to hold India hand in hand and fingers in fingers. Your enemy is our enemy. India, Afghanistan and Iran have good relations so its easier for Pakistan.

Pakistan must secure five thousand km radius around it as secured neighbourhood.

We must resolve disputes ASAP. Delay is utter stupidity in case of neighbours. We must solve Kashmir issue with open and easy approach.
